At the Sierra point military base, headquaters of the Vale rangers, marshal malinov overlooked the training of soldiers from the catwalk of one of the hangars. Ever since the attack on Vale, the Rangers had seen their numbers swell with new recruits, and the organisation itself was considered on par with The huntsmen in terms of authority.
As he watched the training however, dimitri heard a voice call out behind him.
"Marshall malinov?"
Turning around, dimitri saw a man in a red and blue uniform walking towards him, a cap tucked under his arm

The man immediately stuck his hand out.
"I'm quarsh panaka, captain of the Royal naboo security forces and officer in the grand army of the republic." he stated.
"pleasure to meet you, captain." the Marshall replied, shaking the man's hand. "if I may ask, why are you here, exactly?"
"simply put, I'm here to assess the condition of the Rangers capabilities to fight in aerial and space combat." panaka told him.
"I figured admiral tarkin would be the one to do that." malinov commented.
"unfortunately, tarkin has been briefly called back to coruscant by the senate. Apparently ozpin was also requested to join him but they refuse to specify why. So, they called me in to do this."
Dimitri understood perfectly, and brought the captain to look at the Rangers aerial arsenal.
Currently, many of the Vale rangers aircraft were mainly great war relics. However, they had been incredibly well maintained, and there was a large variety in aircraft: fighters, interceptors, even bombers
