The city of mistral had become drastically different from what it was like before the Republic arrived. Within the span of three weeks, most criminal elements had been erradicated, with those that remained mostly fleeing to kuchinashi, where they found themselves stuck under the haxion brood.
Now, the Republic was collecting all of the valuable artifacts found in the lower levels of the city. This was in order to keep them secure, and they promised the mistral government that it would all be returned once crime in the capital was completely erradicated.
Meanwhile, In a hotel located near the highest levels of the city, which has a miniscule Republic presence and is instead garrissoned by the mistral army, weiss schnee and Mercury black sit by themselves at a table in the lobby, going over their latest plan

"alright" mercury stated, placing the Puck torchwick had given them on the table. "turns out the docks torchwick was talking about isn't within mistral, but is at a Republic facility a few miles east of the city."
The puck emitted a hologram showing the base itself, revealing it was built next to a water reservoir, with a dam serving as a bridge and entrance point.
