In an alternate universe where palpatines plots never came to fruition, the galactic Republic sends a contingent of clones to remnant to root out a seperatist holdout

A True mandalorian gauntlet fighter transport exits hyperspace above the planet of krownest: controlled by the mandolorian clan known as clan wren. Aboard this fighter is the true mandalorian leader, kodo, and Ruby rose, both wearing their mandalorian armour.
As they entered the planets orbit, the communication systems activated, and a voice talked to them:
"unidentified fighter. Identity yourselves, or be shot down"
Kodo responded in earnest.
"this is kodo, requesting contact with countess wren."
The man on the intercom seemed to pause for a minute before replying.
"copy that, prepare to land"
Soon enough, the gauntlet had landed on the outskirts of clan wrens stronghold: a fortress-like structure positioned next to a frozen lake.

As kodo and ruby approached the stronghold, a woman in golden and silver armour emerged from the grin door. This was ursa wren: countess of clan wren and leading mandalorian figure

"kodo" the countess said upon spotting the man. "I thought you were dead."
"honestly, I did to for a while" kodo said. "look, ursa, we need to talk."
Kodo went to approach her, but the moment he did, a pair of clan wren mandalorians guarding the entrance drew their blasters, aiming at him.

Fortunately, ursa was quick to order them to stand down. She then turned to kodo.
"let's have a little talk..."

The pair walked through the halls of the stronghold as ursa told kodo what had happened in the years since the dissappearance of the new mandalorians.
After the siege of mandalore, bo-katan had forced the galactic Senate to recognise the independence of mandalore and it's affiliated planets in exchange for being handed over maul. The senate, in no state to negotiate after the death of palpatine, readily agreed. As a result, mandalore and it's moon, concordia, as well as concord dawn, kalevala and krownest became known as the mandalorian federation. For their crimes against mandalore, house vizla and rook were effectively dissolved, forcing all the clans to serve house kryze.
Bo-katan had effectively turned the federation into a military dictatorship. However, she promised this was temporary, and that new houses would be formed in the future.
However, kodo didn't care much for that. Instead, he focused his efforts on convincing ursa to provide support for the effort against the new path.
After some time, ursa would be convinced, and would pledge support for the mission, promising that forces would be on remnant soon.
With that, kodo and Ruby returned to their fighter transport and headed back for remnant.
(sorry if this was underwhelming after such as long wait. I haven't had much motivation, and most of my time has been taken up by college.)
