In the harsh deserts of vacuo, a man stood atop a rock as if searching for something, a dust rifle in his hands. Behind him was what looked to be a safe house built into the mountains, with crates of weapons and ammunition behind him.
This was the headquaters of the crown: a political and paramilitary organisation with the goal of re-establishing the vacuan monarchy. Initially, they had seen major growth, with many genuinely believing in the cause. The group eventually began clashing with the grand army of the republic, whos soldiers became weary of the organisations enforcers
However, a large part of their power came from the schnee dust company, who used them as an excuse to increase their influence over the continent. Once they were forced to leave and violette dust industries took its place, they had gradually lost their influence.
It didn't help they had begun resorting to terrorist tactics, causing support among the populace to wane. Many even left the organisation, believing they lost their morality.
Within the safe house itself were gillian and jax, founders and leaders of the crown. Currently, they were debating on what their current course of action should be.
"we're lost nearly half of our recruited muscle." jax stated as he looked over the statistics. "ammunition is low. An alliance with the league of bones is never happening. I don't know what we're meant to do."
pondered for a moment, before an idea came to her.
"begin packing everything up. We're moving."
While confused, jax followed his instructions, and ordered the crown members to begin transporting their equipment off site. He also contacted other crown cells across vacuo to do the same.
"you mind telling me what you're planning?" jax asked his sister. "or are you gonna keep me in the dark this whole time?"
"alright, alright" gillian replied. "a few days ago I was listening to the radio when a strange broadcast came through. It basically said 'if you're looking for change, head to these coordinates'. I wrote them down and everything."
She handed jax the note she wrote the coordinates on. To his confusion, they seemed to lead to the dragon continent.
Unfortunately, he didn't have time to ask further questions, as suddenly, a loud bang was heard from behind them, followed up by the sounds of gunfire.
"dammit, those clone troopers are here" jax muttered. "one of the deserters must have ratted us out."
Suddenly, one of their enforcers entered the room
"sir, ma'am. Most of the equipment and men have been evacuated." the enforcer told them. "you two go through the tunnels. We'll hold them off for you."
The pair thanked the soldiers and promptly ran for the tunnels within the safe house. As the door leading into the tunnels shut behind them, making it seem as though no door was there, the crown enforcers aimed their guns at the safe house entrance, awaiting the clone troopers arrival
They knew they likely weren't going to survive. But if they could ensure their leaders survival... That was all that mattered to them...

Meanwhile, jax and gillian made their way out of the tunnels. Upon their exit, they were met by a man with the patch of crown on his jacket sitting inside a jeep.
"get in! Before they find us."
The siblings didn't need to be told twice. The moment they hopped in the vehicle, the driver took off, just as a pair of clone troopers arrived outside the tunnels. They tried during at the vehichle, but they were too far away, and they didn't have any air support or speeders ready to persue.
The siblings let out a sigh of relief. Once they made it to the western ports, they would link up with their remaining forces and take a boat promised to them by a local crown sympathiser. All so they could get to whatever was awaiting them on the dragon continent...
--
Meanwhile, back at the former crown bunker, commander Faie stood over the bodies of his brothers. This raid had been costly for his troopers, and dozens had been killed by those enforcers. And in the end, they hand even succeeded in their objective of capturing crown leadership.
Dozens of lives, wasted.
Over to his right, he could here a couple of clone troopers taking. Deciding not to even listen in on what they were saying, fair spoke up
"hey!" faie stated, cutting their conversation short. "less talking, more working."
The two clones hurried off, muttering something the commander couldn't make out. He sighed to himself under his helmet.
This was going to be a looooong afternoon...
