(note: I really wanted to make this chapter have a fight scene where weiss and Mercury take on the bandits, only to be saved by tie-wings at the last moment. But then I realised two things. One, I was completely ripping off the mandalorian. And two, none of the gifs I found for the fight were smaller than three MB (seriously that three MB rule is ridiculous). So, unfortunately, this chapter will skip to the point that they get to the base. Sorry for that.)

Weiss and Mercury walked through the clone base, ocasionally being ocasionally cheered at by local recruits and even clone troopers. To say weiss was surprised at how the locals were being treated would be an understatement: she expected them to be half-worked to death, but instead... They were being treated as if they were just one of the clones.
Came across the bases docking station weiss saw the ship roman had told them about: a gozanti-class assault carrier

Mercury whistled.
"one hell of a ship to ride, huh?" he asked the heiress.
"we're gonna need a distraction if we want to get on that vessel" she explained, looking at mercury as he gave her a smirk.
"oh, don't worry." he said, pulling out a small circular device. "I got this."
Mercury walked back into the base, Mercury began scouring for anything her could use as a distraction. Eventually, he found his mark:
A trexler heavy combat transport. Heavily armoured yet lightly armed, it would make a perfect distraction, and lead to as little casualties as possible.

Mercury slowly approached the transport, pulling out the circular device. However, before he could attach it to the vehichle, he was spotted by a clone trooper.
"hey, you?" the clone stated. "local recruits aren't allowed in this section of the base."
"oh, sorry sir." mercury replied, standing at attention and hiding the device. "i got lost. Could you tell me the way to the juggernaut bay?"
