"Can I ask you a question about my leadership skills?" said Steve.
"Why me?" I questioned.
"You observe the team from the outside and can be a hundred percent honest".
"Ok, shoot".
"Do you think I'm overly controlling?"
"Sir, no, sir!" I joked, giving him a military salute.
He did not appreciate my joke, but Tony smirked proudly.
"I have to be. These people didn't even answer my other question yesterday".
"For the 13th time, no, Steve, we do not think your obsessive!" replied Nat.
Everyone laughed at the sarcastic answer.
Suddenly, we hear some weird noises coming from the floor behind us.
"What the hell is that?" asked Pietro, and we hurried downstairs. The noises were coming from the room where the Avengers kept their weapons. It was the same high-security technology as everywhere in the Tower and no one could have gotten in.
This time, Tony remembered the code. The thick metal door slammed open.
We saw 2 guys wearing black suits and masks who were trying to open the metal boxes inside.
"Hey!" said Tony.
When they saw us, they tried to run out the shattered window (I still didn't understand how they got in, that glass was impossible to break).
Pietro zoomed over and blocked their way as he pushed them to the ground. Once they hit the floor, Steve, Bucky and Tony ran towards them and grabbed them, but the guys pulled out 2 guns.
The worst part was, none of the Avengers had their suits on and weren't ready to fight. Thor couldn't hit his hammer on the floor, it would've destroyed the small room and everyone in it. Tony tried to activate his Iron Man suit, but one of the guys put the gun to his head. The other pointed his weapon at everyone in the room.
"I think you're overreacting a little there, buddy" joked Tony, pretending not to be nervous as the gun hit his forehead. Click. The guy was ready to pull the trigger.
"NO!" I screamed and, before even thinking, I punched the guy in the face so hard the bones in my hand hurt. He fell on the floor unconscious.
I heard a gunshot above my head as I fell onto the floor, trying to protect myself. The sound was incredibly loud and it made my heart vibrate.
My punch did create good enough of a distraction to the other guy, so that Nat could slip under his legs and trip him, then grab the gun out of his hand and point it at him.
The other Avengers grabbed him and pushed him against the wall.
I was now up on my feet and joined them. Suddenly, two hands grabbed my feet tightly and pulled me backwards.
I fell down with a scream, palms first. Before the Avengers even realized what happened, I punched the guy in the jaw and he groaned. I pulled one of my legs out of his grip and hit him in the stomach, as hard as I could. He flew about a meter high in the air and hit the back wall. He was unconscious again, and I was speechless.
How did I even manage to hit this guy so hard?
I grabbed him tightly so he couldn't escape if he regained consciousness.
The Avengers took both guys to the prison next to the basement.

"I knew it. HYDRA workers, trying to steal our weapons. No idea how they got in" shrugged Tony once the thieves were locked.
"Hannah, you were like the Hulk there" said Pietro in amazement.
"Um...yeah. I don't know how I could have hit him so hard" I said nervously.
"Guess Nat is a better teacher then we thought" said Steve.
"Yeah, guess so" I said, forcing a smile. Something felt off about the whole thing.
