~Narrator POV~
Her screams pierced Tony's ears. They were the most horrifying sound he ever heard. He didn't dare to look up at her. He didn't want her to see the absolute horror in his eyes.
Bucky looked up. He saw where he used to be, in that grotesque chair. He remembered the way he screamed and begged. She looked at him desperately through her shrieks. When he looked down, his eyes filled with tears.
Another long, disturbing and painful scream pierced the air. They squeezed their eyes, hoping the sound would stop. You could hear the pain in her scratchy voice as she yelled.
"NOOO!! COME BACK!! DON'T L..LEAVE M...ME!!! PL...PLEASEEE! OWWW!!! S-STOOOP!!! IT HURTS!!! OWWWWW!!! COME BAAACK!! HEEELP ME!!!"
She tried to reach her arms towards them, she begged with her eyes, while they frowned and looked away, trying to hide their watery eyes from her.
Loki walked behind them quietly, knowing that there was nothing he could do to save her. He heard the young girl's scream and his stomach twisted. He never cared about the people he hurt in the past. Now, he realized what those people's families felt.
"OWWWWWW!!!!"
His eyes filled with tears.
When they got out of the door, Tony bent over a trash can and threw up. Wanda collapsed on the pavement and started sobbing.
Her screams still echoed through their mind. They would never forget that sound. They would never forgive themselves.
