Camping

"I don't get it" I mumbled with my mouth full of cereal. "They're so busy, they never even call me anymore. I don't really feel like I have parents" I took another spoonful of Cheerios. It was Saturday and I was sitting in the kitchen in my pajamas, having breakfast.

"Maybe they know that you're doing well and they don't want to bother" suggested Steve.

"They're my parents! Bother me, please!" I rolled my eyes as I put my empty bowl in the sink.

Tony entered the room with a giant grin on his face.

"Am I the greatest or what?" he said.

"I bet that's your favorite way to start a conversation " I replied sarcastically.

He ruffled my hair as I grimaced in annoyance and pushed him away.

"What's up, old man?" asked Pietro.

Tony ignored him.

"Go pack your asses off, we're going camping today!" he exclaimed.

"What?" the others seemed excited and confused at the same time.

"I thought Poodle here could use some fresh air. Actually, we could all use some time off to relax. So grab your stuff, we're leaving in 20 minutes. Chop chop!" He clapped.

I was "Poodle". It was a stupid nickname he gave me, because of my frizzy hair. Did he really have to have nicknames for everybody?

"Don't you think it's a little rushed? What if we get a mission?" asked Clint.

"Would you relax? Fury's gonna be around the whole time. Come on, it'll be fun!"

"Um...alright, I guess!" Wanda smiled, and I joined her. The others nodded in excitement, while Steve was still skeptical.

"Tony, think about this".

"OKAY" Tony said sarcastically, pretending to think. "Hmm... hmmm... yeah, I still wanna go".

Steve rolled his eyes.

"You can call Underoos, too, see if he wants to come" he turned towards me.

"You mean Peter?" I asked.

"What did I say?"

I chuckled.

"He said he's spending the weekend with aunt May".

"Oh, well, I guess that's one less baby to take care of" he shrugged.

"You're rude, you know that?"

"I'm sorry, what did you say? I can't hear you over my awesomeness."

I rolled my eyes and laughed as I left the room.

"Hey, Nat, let me help you with that" said Clint as he threw his bag over the shoulder and lifted Nat's suitcase.

"Damn!" he dropped it to the ground. "What kind of shit you got in there? Please tell me you didn't bring any weapons".

"There could be bears there" she shrugged casually.

"WHAT?" I yelled. "I'm not going if there's bears".

"No, I was just saying..." Nat mumbled.

"Don't worry, Hannah, we can just feed Wanda to the bears" grinned Pietro.

Wanda squealed and hit him with her bag.

"Ow, ow, I'm sorry!"

"I'm pretty sure you're the one we're feeding to the bears" she said to him.
