Diana has to admit, the Cullens' house is a hell of a lot nicer than she had expected it to be- but she would never tell any of them that. The vampires she knew tended to live in old crypts, caves and even the sewers. Apart from one famous vampire that she had accidentally stumbled across during one of her patrols that is.

As they pull up to the house, Diana immediately hops out of the car as she feels slightly nauseous after hearing the two of them flirt the whole ride here. Edward hadn't been shy about ignoring her entire existence and just talked to Bella how he would if no one else was around. Bella, despite feeling a little awkward about it didn't tell him to cut it out in fear of starting yet another bickering argument between the two of them.

"Wow... it's wonderful." Bella gasps as they enter the large house that has a kind of timeless grace to it.

Edward chuckles. "You expected turrets, dungeons and moats?"

The brunette flushes. "No...not moats."

"Well I kind of did." Diana unashamedly admits as she shoves her hand into the front pockets of her combat pants. "Somewhere dark and damp at least."

The boy shoots her a sharp look, clearly already tired of her little quips. He continues to ignore her, like he has done for the past twenty minutes but he hates that she knows that he finds her comments irritating. It's only encouraging her to continue making them and the rest of his family- specifically Rosalie- won't just lie down and take them as he has as they feel no need to impress Bella like he does.

"It's so light and open." Bella comments quickly, grabbing her boyfriend's hand. Diana's being as accepting as she can be right now, she knows that, but would it kill her to cool it with the comments.

Edward momentarily stops gritting his teeth and turns to the girl with a smile. "Thanks to the tinted windows, it's the one place we never have to hide." Clanging can be heard from the kitchen, along with some old Italian music. "I told them not to do this."

Diana, who had zero problem barging into the house, is the first to arrive in the kitchen. The scowl that overtakes her expression is as clear as day as she warily eyes up the four vampires scrambling around the kitchen cooking up some kind of feast. "Well, if it isn't the vampire Brady Bunch."

"What's she doing here?" Rosalie's expression mimics Diana's. Clearly she's just as pleased about the two humans being here as Diana is.

A woman that the blonde has never seen before steps forward. "Bella, we're making Italiano for you." A dazzling, almost to the point where its blinding, smile spreads across her face. "And you must be Diana, I've heard so much about you."

"This is Esme, my mother for all intents and purposes." Edward introduces the woman to Bella.

"Bon giorno?"

Esme claps her hands excitedly. "Molto bene!"

Carlisle moves up so that his arm is wrapped around his wife's waist. "You've given us an excuse to use the kitchen for the first time. Not to mention the opportunity to have that long awaited chat I've been wanting to have with your sister." His amber eyes land on the short girl, who seems to be doing some kind of patrol around the room. "Diana, it's so lovely to see you again."

"We both know that it isn't." The girl responds lowly as she nosily looks around the room. The idea of vampires living so sophisticatedly is foreign to her. She would just pin it on them being different to the ones from her original universe but she doubts that the nomads that are passing by the town live like this either.

It's eery in a way. Seeing such dangerous creatures playing house and pretending to be human is almost more off putting than if they were just killing everyone they could get their icy hands on. The house doesn't look lived in and with the unnecessary kitchen it feels staged. She feels like a fly that has unwittingly flown into a spiderweb.
