So what do you do when your sister who doesn't know that you're her sister becomes human again because she used to be a pine tree?
Tough question, right?
Considering my situation, I did the obvious.
I stared at her, I still couldn't believe my eyes. As Thalia looked around, still dazed, she spotted Annabeth, Grover and me. Her eyes, the same as mine, lingered on Grover for a second or two. I think she recognized him.
I let out a breath that I didn't know was holding when she looked away from us.
I looked back at Percy. He had just realized it. Why we were so stunned. This couldn't be any good, Thalia and Luke were very close, I was able to tell that from the moment they took me in. Would Thalia still be on our side despite that her best friend isn't anymore?
I didn't know her good enough to know the answer. Nobody did.
I took a deep breath and spoke up, "Percy's right." As everyone turned to me, I gently let go of Annabeth's hand. "She needs nectar and ambrosia, come on, people!" I clapped to get them out of their shock.
Lee ran to the Big House to get the medical supplies, he was followed by some of his siblings.
I took a step closer to Thalia, then two. Then Annabeth and Grover joined me. I was relieved, so I interlinked my hand with Annabeth's again. And we walked together to her and Percy.
The three of us kneeled next to her.
"Grover?" She said.
The satyr looked as guilty as if he had killed her puppy. "Thalia, I am so, so-"
"Is this that Camp?" She asked. "Camp Half-Blood?"
Grover nodded as he wiped off his tears. Thalia's gaze went to Annabeth and I. Annabeth squeezed my hand harder. What if she asked about Luke? And how am I supposed to tell her that we're sisters?
And suddently I realized it. I had a sister once again, a living sister. An older sister. And it wasn't Artemis or (eww) Athena who I was talking about, for once. It was Thalia.
But not Dahlia. Their names even sounded alike. What a funny painful coincidence.
Lee came back, "Healer coming through!" He kneeled next to Thalia. "How do you feel?"
"Who are you?" She asked warily.
"Oh, right. I'm Lee. Lee Fletcher, son of Apollo, the god of medicine." He answered. "And you're...?"
Lee knew her name. Everyone did, he just wanted to make sure she knew her name.
"Thalia," She repeated. "Daughter of Zeus."
"You remember, that's good." Lee mentioned, "How do you feel?"
"I'm confused," she answered. "But I'm fine."
"Well, just in case," he handed her a bit of nectar and ambrosia. "Take some of it, it's nectar and ambrosia, food and drink of the gods."
Thalia took it, she relaxed more as she ate it.
"We should go to the Big House," I said, "To explain a bit what has happened."
"I know you." She told me. She looked to Annabeth. "And you. I don't know how, but..." her eyes, identical to mine, widened. "Annabeth?"
The daughter of Athena nodded. Thalia looked back at me. "And that means... Vic?"
"Hi."
Thalia frowned, "But you... you were seven, Annabeth! And you were six, Vic. How come you both are suddently... what, fourteen?"
