In case somebody hadn't noticed, I was frustrated, annoyed, miserable, sad, angry, lost, scared among another things.

When Annabeth fell of that cliff, I swear I couldn't breathe for a moment. I had never been so scared in my life.

Losing Annabeth had always been a fear of mine, I mean, do you know just how many year rounders die when they go to the real world? Many. Too many. The head counselor of Cabin Seven before Lee for an example. The boy's name was Nate, he was fifteen when he passed.

Sometimes when I'd start overthinking, I'd think of just what would I do if something like that were to happen to Annabeth? The question always left me this bad taste on my mouth and a feeling of emptyness.

I didn't know what to think. Annabeth had fallen of a cliff. Mr. D wants to kill me and he won't allow a search for Annabeth. The anger was becoming too much. Dionysus had seen Annabeth grow up here, sure, they weren't close, but he had seen her be a little seven year old to be a fourteen year old. Seven years. And he still didn't care.

I clenched my fists. I took off my coat and was about to slash the dummy in front of me, pretending it was Kronos, Zeus, Dionysus and Dr. Thorn all in one, when someone called my name.

It was Silena Beauregard, the most beautiful child of Aphrodite in the last two hundred years, or so they say. Silena was my friend, but she had this... how to say it? Way of thinking. She was totally convinced Annabeth and I were meant to be. She said she could feel it.

Even though that, everytime I felt something... unusual, I would go to her cabin and tell her about it. Silena always had a solution.

"Hey. What the hell are those Hunter girl doing here?" Silena asked. "What happened?"

I glared at her, annoyed.

"Oh-oh," she said. "You're moody. What's wrong?"

"I'm not moody." I replied, my ring turning into my sword and slashing the dummy.

"Yes, you are." Silena replied back. "Is it because of the Hunters? I know that last time they came here they burned the Hermes cabin while your hoodies were in there, but-"

"Don't you have anywhere else to be?" I snapped. "Don't you have to like, go be dark haired Barbie while Beckendorf's your Ken?"

"Something is definitely up." The daughter of Aphrodite frowned. "Is it because my new sis asked you out?"

"It isn't about Daisy Tanuki!"

"It's Drew Tanaka, Via."

Yeah, I guess I should explain that. Before Percy's mom picked me up at noon. Silena's new sister had asked me to go to the Lake with her and stuff. I told her I didn't want to and later, Silena said that Daisy had apparently tried to ask me out.

Oh, and Silena called me 'Via' because of my initials. V for Victoire, I for Isabelle and A for Avery.

Silena was about to probably say something real smart that would make me question my entire life and make me beg for forgiveness for being moody, but Grover came into the picture, looking a little scared.

"You didn't do what Thalia just told me you did, right?" The satyr asked me.

"If you mean yelling at Mr. Dumb drunk that he could do a little more than just being an stupid lazy old drunk and losing at a thousand year old card game," I said, swinging my sword. "Yes, I did."

Silena gasped. Grover's mouth fell open.

"You've lost your mind." Silena stated, she turned to Grover, apparently deciding it'd be easier to get answers from him. "What happened?"
