I'm too weak. I'm pathetic.
That was the first that entered my brain when I started training with WIlhelm.
What? Did you expect me to be cheerful just like I was in the previous chapters?
That's not how I actually act. That was just a mask.
In reality, I'm much more different. Just see for yourself:

*CRASH!*
Cylob: "Oh! I'm sorry! I'll pick it all up!"
I hurridly pick up all the luggage that I dropped.
I can't even help with work properly.
Cylob: "Heh. I said I'll help, but all I do is be a burden."
Wilhelm: "No need to worry, young Cylob. A single mistake doesn't undermine all you did."
Cylob: "Thanks. It feels good to hear that." I smile.
...He only said that to make me feel better. He didn't actually mean that.
I hop into the carriage and the ground dragon starts pulling it.
Wilhelm: "So, how does it feel to work?" He turns to me, awaiting my answer.
Cylob: "It's fine. It's not something enjoyable, but I can power through it, especially since everyone else is so capable and nice."
I still don't understand how they can stand me. All I do is ask questions and distract them from their work. It feels like without me they would be finishing faster...
Wilhelm: "Of course they all are. They were handpicked by Crusch-sama herself. It would be impossible for them to be anything less."
Crusch is just that great, huh-
"Including you."
...Including...me?
...
Cylob: "I feel like the expectations all of you put on me are too much." I smile weakly.
Wilhelm: "I have yet to see Crusch-sama fail in correctly assessing someone's potential." He said with a small smile.
Yeah, right. I'm nowhere close to anyone around her and I'll never be.
Felix is the best healer in the kingdom.
Wilhelm is called the Sword Demon for his incredible skill with the sword.
Everyone in the mansion is way better at their jobs than me.
And I don't even want to think about Crusch herself...
I don't bring anything to the table. I'm more of a burden than anything.
And that's how it'll always be.
Cylob: "I guess I'll just have to work towards that potential she saw, huh." I smile with d̶e̶t̶e̶r̶m̶i̶n̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶.
These are just empty words. I'll never get to their level.
Wilhelm: "Yes. And I'll be right there, guiding you along the way."
Cylob: "Thank you for your trust in me, Wil-san."
It's wasted on me.
The rest of our ride was spent in silence.
I thought about my position again.
I was surrounded my ultra-capable people, in an ultra-harsh world.
When I tried to put myself somewhere close to any of them, I just fell flat.
...
...
...
Pathetic.
That was the thought that kept repeating in my head during the entirety rest of the ride.
...And also during my entire time in this world.
...
...
...
Wilhelm: "I'm glad you're enjoying working."
Cylob: "I just said I'm not!" I say with a snarky tone and with a smile.
Just fake your emotions. If you say that you'll be great, you'll start believing it...right?
Fake it till you make it......right?
