Basically, this chapter is a collection of events that are important but too small to be a separate chapter.

Digging, digging, mining, mining.

Those were all the thoughts that were going through my mind.

I kept digging and mining, digging and mining.

Magic Specialist Needed

I was sitting in a room. More accurately, in a room inside the Astrea mansion. I was pretty early, so I had some time for myself.

Cylob: "Maybe the next game I make should be Star Realms... I'll think about that. I can make Mafia, but I'm not sure whether the people of this world will like that kind of game."

It was the kind of thing I could think about when I had nothing to do.

It was then that the door opened. In walked a short man with green hair.

Cylob: "Perfectly on time. Down to the minute. Impressive."

Ezzo: "Of course. I wouldn't want to keep you waiting." He sits down on the sofa in front of me. "Now, you had something you wanted to talk to me about?"

Cylob: "Of course, it's about this."

I take some papers out of my Stomach and put them on the table.

Ezzo picks them up and starts reading them.

His eyes immediately start sparkling.

Cylob: "Interesting, right?"

Ezzo: "Indeed! To think that something like this existed! How did you come up with something like this?! Are you perhaps a genius?!"

Cylob: "I wasn't the one who came up with this. I can't tell you where I obtained this, but let's just say that I stumbled upon this."

Ezzo: " 'Stumbled upon it', huh. Seems like a lie for something so complicated and powerful."

No, it really was something I just stumbled upon...

*pang!* *pang!*

Yes, I know you worked hard for this Ashna. I'm really thankful for your work. I just meant that this was something I didn't expect to get and didn't work for.

Honestly, the formula on the papers was way too complicated for me to understand. It was just something that Ashna had written.

Ezzo: "So? What do you want? I assume that you're not giving this to me for free."

Cylob: "How perceptive. Indeed, this is not for free. In exchange for this, I want you to come up with a way to negate it."

Ezzo: "To negate it? Why'd you want to negate something so powerful?"

Cylob: "That's not something I really want to share. Well, how about it?"

Ezzo: "Of course I'll take it!" He said with no hesitation.

I couldn't help but show a small smile.

Cylob: "That's a relief, how long will it take?"

Ezzo: "For something this complicated... two weeks."

Cylob: "Only two weeks? You're really good at magic, huh."

Ezzo: "Of course! There's a reason I have a title, even though it's something as boring as 'Gray'." He grumbled a bit at the end.
