As the plans were set to meet at Aditya's family mansion, the group began heading out from the office. Since Avni was at home, Priyanka and Joravar decided to sit this dinner out. That left Aditya, Akriti, Abhiman, and Mona to make their way to the Rathore Villa together.

At precisely 8:40 p.m., Aditya was ready and heading towards his car, with Akriti right behind him. Abhiman, ever the daredevil, had chosen to take his favorite bike for the ride. Spotting Mona, he tilted his head with a smirk. "Want a lift?" he offered, patting the back of the bike.

Mona crossed her arms, giving him an unimpressed look. "Thanks, but no thanks. I’ll go with jiju and Akriti."

Aditya, however, had other plans. Blocking her path with an amused glint in his eyes, he shook his head. "Not happening, Mona. You’re going with Abhi."

She pouted, giving him a pleading look. “Jiju, come on! You can’t leave me behind. Please, just take me with you.”

Aditya crossed his arms, raising an eyebrow. “I already said no. Besides, don’t you have your own car? What happened to that?” he asked, knowing full well how well-off she was.

Mona sighed dramatically. “I brought my car, but the tire’s flat. So, here I am, needing a ride.” She pretended to scroll through her phone, pretending to book a cab with a sigh of resignation.

Akriti, noticing the scene, chuckled. She had a good guess that Abhiman might’ve been the one behind the mysterious flat tire. Abhi would use any excuse to get closer to Mona, and though Mona wouldn’t admit it, her stubborn refusal to go with him wasn’t doing her any favors.

“Mona, don’t take a cab; it’s not safe this late. Just go with Abhi,” Akriti encouraged gently. “He drives well, and you can trust him.”

Aditya’s brows furrowed as he turned to Akriti, a flicker of jealousy in his eyes. “Oh? And how do you know that, exactly? Been taking rides on his bike when I’m not around?”

Akriti’s lips curved into a playful smile. “Maybe once or twice, when you were in Patna. It was thrilling, I have to say,” she teased, knowing her words would get under his skin.

Aditya tightened his hold around her waist possessively. “Oh, so that’s what you two do behind my back?” he muttered with a mock glare, though his eyes sparkled with amusement.

“Don’t worry, Mr. Rathore. No one’s stealing your thunder,” Akriti reassured him, leaning into his hold.

Meanwhile, Mona was growing increasingly annoyed with their banter. Rolling her eyes, she threw up her hands in defeat. “Fine, fine. If you’re so insistent, I’ll go with Abhi.” She huffed and walked over to him, muttering under her breath about stubborn men.

Abhiman, who had been watching the whole exchange with a smirk, revved up his bike as Mona approached. “I knew you’d come around, Princess,” he said, eyes gleaming with amusement.

“Just drive, will you?” she grumbled, climbing onto the bike. The moment she settled herself behind him, he accelerated sharply, causing her to lose her balance and bump against his back.

“Careful there, Princess,” he chuckled, glancing back. “If you don’t hold on properly, you might just fall off. Here, let me help.” He took her hands and wrapped them around his torso, despite her half-hearted attempts to pull them away.
