Chapter 30

Hi readers, this will be the last chapter of *Wild Heart*, the first installment of the *Sweetheart Series*. I'll be writing the second installment, "The Lost Heart." This love story is about Alpha Borjn Markus of The Viking Moon Pack.

**Kessler's POV**

No arms.

"Please help her," taranta kong sabi kay Doktora Bejoc. Dahan-dahan ko siyang inilatag sa hospital bed dito sa HQ ng Division Group.

She is too skinny and pale. I can't imagine her pain and the bruises she has...

"Let her rest. I can promise you that she will be okay. I will call you once she awakes," the doctor assured me.

Pero hindi pa rin ako mapakali.

Lumabas ako ng kwarto at naabutan ko ang grupo kong nag-uusap.

Kanina pa to nakabantay si Milo sa akin dahil alam niyang susugurin ko ang taong nagkarga kay Rachel at iniwan lang siya sa harapan ko.

Stupid.

"Wala kang papatayin sa kanila, Alpha. Hindi 'yan solusyon para mawala ang galit mo. Hintayin nating magising si Rachel," sabi ni Milo.

Yan ang ginawa ko kahit gustong-gusto ko nang tirisin sa mga kamay ko ang grupo niya. Bakit siya nagkakaganyan, anong ginawa ba siya sa kamay ni Dencio?

But I was more enraged when I saw Rachel hugging the guy. Noon ko pa alam na may karelasyon na siya sa pack nila, kaya niya ako iniwan at si Eros.

Years after she left the pack, news emerged that she had a new partner. I was protecting my son, so I blocked and opted out of the issue surrounding Rachel's scandal.

I'm not sure why I'm feeling this anger. I realize I'm no longer in her heart, but I can't understand why she's acting this way now. She used to be so lovely and sophisticated.

I wonder how her boyfriend treats her.

She's not looking very well. Her face is pale, and she seems to be sweating."

I was on the verge of getting her back, so I exhausted all of Dencio's resources because once he was out of power, it would be easy for me to take Rachel from him. That was easy. It was so simple, but... surprisingly, she was on the phone asking me to leave her alone and her pack.

I got angry and forced myself to forget her.

If I had known better, I wouldn't have stopped pursuing her to return to my pack. But because I wanted her to be happy, I stopped pursuing her and focused on my pack and being a father to Eros. I didn't realize that she had been suffering for a long time at the hands of her father...

It was the opposite of what I thought; I assumed she had forgotten about us and was happy with someone else.

Every time I see her with her skinny face and malnourished body, I regret why I stopped pursuing her to come back.

"Kessler, please. Isama mo na ako sa school. Gusto ko ring maisip ni Eros na mabuti rin akong ina sa kanya. Well, alam ko naman na matatanggap niya ako, pero gusto ko parin ipakita sa kanya na inaalagaan ko siya," pakiusap ni Tanya sa akin.

When we were kids, Tanya confessed her feelings for me. She lost her parents at a young age, just like me, so maybe she found in me the love she was looking for. But I told her I saw her as a younger sister.

She went abroad for her profession and came back when she heard about me and my Luna. Hindi ko rin siya masisi sa pag-aalala niya.

I decided to let Tanya take on the role of Eros' mother while Rachel is away. Eros needs a mother figure, and I appreciate Tanya stepping in for him. However, I still hold onto the hope that Luna will return soon. Although the situation seems uncertain and it's difficult to predict, I'm still holding out for a possibility.
