Evie
We walk past corridors covered in locker's. The school is big and airy. High ceilings and big windows.
After being lost more then once, we asked for help to find the way to the schools head office.
In the middle of the lobby is a desk where a girl sits. Owen walks up to her.
She seems too young to be working here. Maybe right out of uni.
"Hello, we're new students" Owen says to her. She looks up and smiles politely. "Yes, what's your names"
I and Ciara walks up so we stand one on each side of Owen.
"This is Ciara, she is a first year and this is Evie. And I'm Owen Jones" she nods and look down at some papers.
Looking closer I see she has a name tag on her blouse. Layla Adler stands in writing.
She stops and thinks then opens a drawer, taking out a small key she inserts it to the bottom drawer.
"I haven't gotten any order of the paperwork " she speaks to fill in the awkward silence. "I only started last week,so bear with me" she lets out a small laugh.
Once done she closes and locks the drawer.
"Here is your schedule Ciara" she hands a paper to my sister. Then gives the last two papers to me and Owen.
"Okay, There you go" she smiles up at us. "If you have any trouble, don't be shy to ask someone for help"
"Yeah,sure" Owen answer. I and Ciara only nods.
We say bye and leave the schools secretary. Outside the head office Owen stops us.
"We meet outside the parking lot after school or we meet by lunch" Owen decides.
"Sure" I give him a smile. "What subject do you guys have now"
Both Ciara and Owen looks down at their paper. "Mm, I have English" Ciara says. "Me too" Owen answers.
"Well, good luck" Owen says before walking away to his class. "Bye" Ciara speaks before she also leaves.
Leaving me standing in the hallway alone. I look down at the paper and see that I have Science. I grumble under my breath.
I hate science.
