Authors note: You take care of Conrad while he's got the Flu at College.
Conrad hardly missed out on class, so when y/n didn't see him in Med Lab she was curious on where he was.
Your point of view
The story of us. I met Conrad in our first year here at brown, I was roaming around campus just searching for something to do, somewhere to chill. Only because my roommate Lisa had put a hat on our door knob... meaning she had a random guy over and doing the 'do'.
I found myself sitting at a bench by the library in the courtyard of our campus, the post lamps turned out because well, it was late at night.
A sigh escaped my lips as I shivered from the cold, mist exiting my mouth to remind me of how cold it truly was.
"You need a jacket? Y/n right? From Lab?" A voice murmured as he exited the Library.
I turned to see him, Conrad from my Class.
Kindly I rejected him, I hated being a burden.
"Yeah it's y/n, and no thank you Conrad." I replied smiling, Conrad didn't hesitate and I watched as he took off his jacket and handed it to me.
"I insist, please." He spoke with a grin, I thanked him and lightly rolled my eyes.
"Thank you, you made my night better." I whispered standing up, Conrad brushed his fingers through his hair, a smirk plastered on his lips.
"What are you doing out here anyway? It's 12am and freezing-"
I had cut him off,
"My roommate, is uh, she has a guy in our dorm room. And I'm stuck out here." I replied while my teeth chattered, Conrad perched his lips and looked down at the ground.
"That's very unfortunate, well, I'm about to go to the 24/7 Diner in town. Did you want to join me? I missed out on dinner from studying." Conrad offered politely, I said yes straight away.
~ a year later we became closer, much closer~
I left lab and pulled out my phone, texting Conrad.
To: Connie
From: Y/n
Missed lab? You alright?
It only took him 3 seconds to reply.
To: y/n
From: Connie
I'm stuck in bed. Ive got the flu I think.
Without even thinking I made my way to the closest pharmacy.
Grabbing Antiviral meds, painkillers, Powerade for electrolytes and some lunch for him.
By the time I made it to his dorm I was puffed, my legs basically jelly from all the walking I did.
I opened his door and saw Connie fast asleep in his bed, luckily his roommate Trusky wasnt here so I could aid to him privately.
Conrads hair was messy but still looked like an Amercrombie and fitch model, I scoffed lightly. No matter how sick he was, he still looked good.
"Con, wake up." I whispered while pushing his arms little, his eyes fluttered open and smiled at me.
His smile then turned into concern.
"Y/n, what are you doing here? You're going to catch my cold." He expressed, I rolled my eyes and told him to shut up.
"I've got this for you. Some subway and today's notes from class." I spoke while pulling out all the meds, his lunch, and my notepad.
Conrad couldn't help but smile again, he picked up his subway sub and offered me a bite before he started eating, I took a massive bite and he laughed at me.
"Thank you, I owe you y/n, now leave before you get sick- You're not kicking me out, and I don't care if I get sick Con, I'm here to aid you." I replied, my eyes squinting as I smirked.
Connie raised his eyebrows, as if he was shocked, he then nodded for me to join him in bed, next to him.
My head turned to face him, we both admiring each other. The tension was thick, the air felt different this time. His aura.
"You've made college 100 times better." Conrad whispered, his eyes still locked with mine.
"Likewise Connie." i mumbled under my breath.
"You owe me right?" I whispered asking him, Conrad agreed and nodded.
"What do you got to offer?" I asked slightly smirking, Conrad perched his lips and bit down on his bottom lip, acting clueless about what to offer me.
"How about this?" He whispered leaning forward, he was close, I could feel his warm breath on me. His hands snaking around my waist, his soft lips pressed against mine.
I didn't care that this boy was sick, this was perfect.
