Caleb POV
We were at Lydia's house again because she wanted us to join her for dinner claiming it'll be a nice family dinner for all of us. I made sure Aria slept well before we came here for dinner.

Aaron and Layla arrived as well so they could break the news to Lydia about their pregnancy. "D-Daddy." Aria whispered softly as she grabbed my hand to get my attention.

"Hmm?" I hummed softly while gently tucking her hair behind her ear for her as she looked up at me. "I-I'm g-gonna g-go h-help L-Lydia." She told me.

"Help her with what princess?" I asked, not liking the idea of her doing anything especially cause she was pregnant. "T-To m-make e-everyone's p-plate." She replied.

"No." I replied sternly making her look up at me confused. I could see it in her eyes that she didn't like hearing me say 'no' especially when it was directed to her.

"I didn't bring you here to be everyone's maid princess, I promise she has more than enough help." I assured her as she pouted. "I j-just w-wanna h-help d-daddy." She complained.

"I know and I love that your so considerate all the time but your pregnant and I want you with me right now." I pulled her closer kissing her forehead delicately before lifting her into my arms to carry her instead.

She always liked to help everyone out and I loved it but I hated it at the same time because I didn't want her lifting a finger for anything.

Her parents tormented her enough with making her their slave for eighteen years. I wasn't going to let her be anyone's slave even if she was just helping bring everyone's plates of food.

I carried her to the dining room where everyone was already sitting. I could tell their wasn't enough chairs for everyone so I sat in a chair with Aria comfortable on my lap.

"I want my girlfriend to sit next to me." AJ began to complain, wanting Aria near him instead. I smirked pulling Aria closer into my arms. He was just a kid who had a crush on her but despite him just being a kid I didn't like sharing her even if he is just a kid.

The thought of anyone wanting her as much as I did angered me in ways that made me want to tear up this whole town until it was covered in blood.

I shouldn't have brought us here this is where it all began, where I lost my mind and became this sick and twisted man I am today. I'm surrounded by people I hate but somehow respect only because they helped me.

They helped me but I knew they only did it out of guilt not because they wanted to simply help me. It was all for money and greed.

"Come sit with me Aria." AJ urged her. I didn't expect her to actually try and get down from my lap to go sit beside him.

If I didn't care about how embarrassed she would feel i would bend her over this damn dining table and spank her ass for going to another male even if he was just a kid.

Still I kept my composure, watching her angrily sit on his chair and then place him onto her own lap to sit. She even kissed his cheek making the little boy blush happily.

As if it wasn't pissing me off enough she was fucking smiling, smiling so beautifully I felt like a fool for thinking I could only make her smile that beautifully.

"Caleb you good?" Aaron asked making me look over at him instead. "Chill he's just a kid." He said as if I needed that reminder. Perhaps I did but honestly a part of me wished he didn't remind me.

I averted my gaze back towards Aria she was still smiling eating happily with AJ. I loved seeing her so happy and comfortable but I couldn't help but feel jealous.
