Aria POV
My chest burned as I struggled to breathe, each inhale feeling tighter than the last. I felt like I was going to pass out right there in the yard.
I didn't know what to do.
I didn't know where to go.
All I could do was stand there—crying, shaking, and holding onto my belly—as fear completely consumed me.
Shot after shots were firing. I flinched in fear my mind spiraling as I struggled to stop myself from having a panic attack.
My heart racing against my chest,
My breathing shallow,
My mind spiraling but going completely blank.
I was shaking so badly I wanted to scream but I was so frozen and mute i lost all control of my voice and body.
My vision was blurry with tears I was so scared. I felt someone lift me up in their arms as if on instinct I began to kick and scream.
Fighting the man who was carrying me. I could hardly see or understand what was happening I just didn't want to be taken away.
"L-Le-Let! M-me g-goooo!" I screamed hardly getting the words out my mouth as I sobbed uncontrollably.
"Aria." I punched and kicked at the man holding me so close to himself. "N-N-N-No!.... L-Let m-me-m-me...." I sobbed loudly trying my best ti get free from this man but I just couldn't.
I was so weak, my baby, Caleb, Layla I needed Caleb.
Caleb POV
She was kicking and screaming, sobbing for me to let her go. She was in shock and scared thinking I was someone trying to kidnap her.
I placed her down on her feet grabbing her arms firmly to make her look at me. "Aria, it's me baby." I spoke softly and stern so I wouldn't scare her more.
I cupped her face as she sobbed barely breathing normally. She was shaking and hyperventilating, she looked terrified.
"D-Da-...." She could barely even speak with stammering way more than usual.
"I'm here princess, I'm here, daddy's here baby." I sunk down to my knees in front of her pulling her into my arms.
She sobbed even more completely falling apart in my arms. "Breathe baby, everything's okay. It's over princess you're safe now." I whispered reassuringly to her.
She gripped my shoulders tightly hugging me tightly. "That's it nice deep breaths princess, breathe for me. I've got you now." I reassured comfortingly.
Her breathing slowed becoming more rhythmic and normal paced. "L-Lay-... w-wh-where I-is s-she?" She asked panicking all over again.
I picked her up carrying her towards the kitchen to splash some water onto her face cause she as starting to panic again.
"Calm down, your pregnant I need you to calm down and I'll tell you everything." I reminded her knowing if I didn't calm her down she would harm herself and the baby from stressing so badly.
I sat her down on the kitchen counter near the sink. I turned on the faucet splashing water onto her face to help her calm down.
She took a deep breath, crying softly as I wiped her face with a soft cloth. "Good girl, breathe princess daddy's got you now." I assured her calmly.
She hugged me tightly breathing in my scent to calm herself down. I knew my cologne brought her comfort since I met her.
"D-Daddy w-where's L-Layla?" She asked me impatiently, staring at me pleadingly to tell her.
