Aria POV
I woke up from a small nap. tears streaming down my cheeks because of another intense nightmare. Caleb wasn't in the room I was right on the verge of breaking down when I noticed Layla walk into my room.
"You're awake." She said happily making me smile. "Come on let's go to your playroom." She ushered me out of the bed. I got up quickly from the bed running after her down the hall to my playroom.
Layla stopped abruptly causing me to bump into her backside. I looked over Laylas shoulder and noticed my playrooms door was broken. Someone broke the door completely and it was gone.
My eyes widened in shock as I looked at the door frame, the hinges were practically hanging onto the frame for dear life.
"What happened to your door Aria?" Layla asked me. "I d-don't k-know." I answered. "Did Caleb break the door or did it just fall off?" She asked making me realize it was Caleb that broke the door down when we found out I was pregnant.
"D-da-C-Caleb b-broke I-it." I stammered out. "Why?" She asked curiously. I kept quiet not ready to tell anyone I was pregnant. "Princess." I heard Caleb call for me causing me to look up towards the sound of his voice.
He walked over to me kissing me gently on my head making me smile. "You were crying why baby?" He asked me concerned as he stared at my reddish, puffy eyes.
"B-bad d-dream." I answered softly. "I'm sorry I wasn't there for you princess. Everything will be okay I promise baby." He assured me comfortingly. "I k-know d-daddy." I whispered softly as he pecked my lips gently.
"M-my d-door I-is b-broken d-daddy." I complained to him while pouting sadly. "I know and i'm going to get it fixed soon enough just be patient princess. Can you be patient for daddy?" He asked me softly.
"Y-yeah I t-think." I answered honestly. He chuckled softly at my response. "Okay well if it really bothers you that your doors broken I'll put up a curtain or something until it gets fixed how does that sound?" He asked reasonably.
"G-good!" I exclaimed happily liking that idea a lot. "Great I'll put up a curtain once I get back I promise princess." He promised me and I was fine with that until the end of his sentence.
"Y-your l-leaving m-me?" I asked with tears already pooling in the front of my eyes. "I am leaving princess, but I promise I'll be back by tonight." He assured me. "H-how l-late?" I asked.
"I'm not sure but Layla will be here and Aaron so you aren't alone. I'll be back as soon as I can princess." He told me reassuringly. "O-okay I-i'm g-gonna m-miss y-you d-daddy." I admitted as small tears rushed down my cheeks.
He picked me up hugging me as I cried softly. "I'm gonna miss you so much more baby, I promise I'll be back as soon as I can." He whispered to me to comfort me.
"D-do y-you h-have t-to l-leave d-daddy?" I asked through soft cries. "Yes I do princess and I would bring you with me but I can't this time i'm sorry baby." He explained to me feeling bad and guilty cause he couldn't bring me along with him.
"W-why I p-promise I-i'll b-be a g-good g-girl." I told him convincingly so I could go with him. "I know you'll be good princess but... I just can't take you princess I'm sorry baby." He replied without a full explanation.
I tightened my arms around his neck sobbing even more. I didn't like his response at all and it didn't make me feel any better because he wasn't being completely honest with me.
"I got you a phone so you can call me whenever I can't promise I'll answer every time you call me but I can promise you that I'll call you back as soon as I can." He said as he pulled out the brand new iPhone he bought me.
