Caleb POV
I stared at her as she slept quietly in the bed beside me. She was so beautiful even with her hair messy and all over the place cause she was sleeping still, she's still as beautiful as anything I've ever seen.
I noticed the small tears slipping down her cheeks. She was crying but she was sleeping. I brushed my fingers through her soft silky dark brown hair. Trying to soothe her through the bad dream she was having.
She whimpered softly crying even more in her sleep. "Shh." I whispered softly to her. "D-da..." she whimpered even more digging her nails into my chest.
I pulled her closer into my arms kissing her head softly as I grew more worried for her. "D-daddy." She whispered softly through soft cries. "Shh daddy's here I've got you princess." I whispered soothingly to her.
I pulled her hands off my chest to stop her from scratching me. "Wake up beautiful I wanna see your beautiful eyes baby." I encouraged her to wake up.
Her eyes fluttered open slowly as she struggled to adjust to the sunlight coming through the windows of our bedroom. I smiled as she looked up at me with her big chocolate brown eyes.
But tears came streaming out of her eyes making me worried for her. I wiped her tears away from her face kissing her lips gently. "No more tears princess your awake now I won't let anyone hurt you." I soothed to her comfortingly.
She scooted closer into my arms hiding her face into my neck. I pulled her on top of me to lay over my body. I kissed her cheek slipping my hand beneath her shirt, running my fingertips along her spine to keep her calm.
I felt her teeth gently nibbling along my neck. I groaned softly feeling tingles of shockwaves run through my veins every time she nibbled on my neck.
It's like she knew that was a weak spot of mine and purposely always went there but I also knew this was her way of comforting herself. But it left me struggling not to just fuck her senselessly every time she nibbled on my neck.
"D-daddy." She whispered softly against my neck. "Hmm?" I hummed softly. "A-are y-you g-gonna l-leave m-me?" She asked me softly. I thought for a moment confused by what she meant leave her?
I sat up on the bed as I felt tears dripping onto my neck and shoulder. I realized she was still crying just hiding it from me this whole time. "Princess what's wrong?" I asked her concerned and worried.
"Y-your g-gonna l-leave m-me a-aren't y-you c-cause I-I'm a l-lot t-to t-take c-care o-of, I-I'm a b-burden, c-childish, a-annoying, w-weak, s-stupid, a-and u-useless."
"I-I'm j-just u-useless a-and I k-know y-your g-gonna l-leave m-me I k-know y-you a-are." She sobbed uncontrollably having a complete meltdown.
I've never dealt with someone like this especially a woman as emotional and sensitive as her. And I would say I was clueless on what to do but I wasn't just going to stare at her like she was crazy either.
It was obvious she had a very bad dream and I knew this break down had something to do with her parents. They filled her head with horrible and negative things that she was beginning to believe them.
She had no choice but to believe it after being tortured and held hostage by them like a dog. I hugged her as she cried heavily into my chest. "None of that is true princess, none of it your safe now." I whispered to her.
"I d-don't w-want y-you t-to l-leave m-me d-daddy." She cried to me pleadingly hugging me tighter as if she was afraid I would let her go or something.
