Aria POV
"W-Why a-are w-we h-here d-daddy?" I asked him. "I want you to meet someone special to me." He replied. "S-Special?" I asked confused knowing he didn't like most people besides Aaron and me.

"Yes she's very special to me and I'd like you to meet her." He explained to me shocking me that this was a woman he claimed was special to him.

He grabbed my hand which was already sweating due to my anxiety of meeting someone new especially now that I know it's someone special to him.

"Don't be nervous baby I'll be by your side the entire time I promise." He assured me sweetly, kissing the top of my hand. He guided me up the driveway towards the front door of the house.

I held his hand tightly nervous and worried but curious to know who this special woman was to him. "Caleb is that you dear?" He stopped in his tracks at the woman's soft voice.

I stood beside him as he stood shocked and surprised to see and hear the woman's voice. I was completely confused on what was going on or who this woman was.

"Yeah, it's me Nonna." He answered the older woman. She rushed out the front door towards him hugging him tightly. "My goodness I've been waiting years to see your handsome face again." She exclaimed.

She was so short compared to Caleb. She cupped his face with her hands squeezing his cheeks smiling at him. "Where have you been all these years?" She asked him demandingly.

"I've been in New York you know this Nonna." He replied to her. "Your right but it's been almost seven years since you left." She argued with him. I couldn't tell if she was being serious or not.

She let go of his face and looked towards me her eyes brightened up as she stared at me. "Who's this beautiful woman?" She asked him smiling knowingly.

"My beautiful wife Aria." He answered making me blush at how nice it sounded coming from his mouth. "Your wife!" She exclaimed loudly making me cover my ears at how loud she was even tho we were outside.

"You got married and didn't invite me to the wedding! When? When did you get married?" She asked him accusingly and disappointedly.

"We got married three days ago in New York It was a simple wedding you didn't miss out on anything." He told her. It was a simple wedding but it was the best wedding I ever had or could dream of.

I wouldn't consider it a simple wedding I think he's just saying that to make her feel better. "You could have still called me." She said reasonably.

"I didn't have time to be on my phone Nonna." He said which was correct neither of us had our phones at all. "Well your brother Aaron could have called me." She reasoned.

"He could have but he was busy helping me." Caleb replied coming up with a reasoning for not calling her or inviting her to the wedding.

She sighed softly turning her attention towards me. She was upset but was choosing to let it go instead. "He's always causing trouble." She said making me smile as she grabbed my hand.

"I'm Lydia but you my sweet pea can call me Nonna." She introduced herself to me sweetly as she guided me into her beautiful house.

We walked into her living room area everything seemed so old school and Italian in her house I loved it. It was beautiful and felt so homey, inviting, and warm.

"Sit sweet pea I'll make us some coffee." She told me sweetly. I sat down on the couch, Caleb sat beside me kissing me gently on my cheek.

"I know this is unexpected I'll explain later to you." He assured me. "O-Okay." I pecked his lips delicately smiling sweetly at him. I knew he would explain things to me I wish he did it before we came here so unexpectedly.
