"Thank you, Yosef. Tell Marie I will stop by as soon as I can." He hugged you and patted you on the back. We "It's no problem." He smiled.

"Will you be the one who picks us up?" You asked as everyone gathered off the boat. He sadkg shook his head. "I don't believe so. I've been scheduled for more pick-ups."

"Also, give him a chance." You looked up at him in confusion. He jerked his head over to Kakashi. "I see how he looks at you and I know a man in love when I see it."

Your face reddened as you walked away from him. "Why's your face-" You heard Yosef laughing as he set the boat to his next location. "Shut it Hatake."

You pulled the scroll from your bag and began mapping out your current location. We are supposed to ride a wagon but you didn't see it yet.

"What's taking so long?" Hanami asked as we were scanning the map. We both ignored her.

When it came to missions Kakashi and I took these seriously like any other ninja should. Even if we weren't particularly on good terms we will make sure this job got done.

"I could do that." Kakashi and I were reviewing a formation of how to protect Hanami as we went through the fog. "You should save your chakra," Kakashi commented.

"We wouldn't be able to see the enemy until they are within a few feet in front of us." You pointed it out. He nodded his head in agreement. "If we were to somehow come across an enemy you wouldn't be able to fight them at your full potential if you waste your energy on this fog."

Even though you didn't want to admit it, he had a good point. "Besides if an enemy gets close, we could sense them."

"Hanami. Stay as close as possible to us, at least until we get clear of this fog." You ordered standing behind her. Kakashi led the way and Hanami was placed in the middle.

"Can't you just take me straight to her house?" Hanami Complained. "I've been stuck with you both for two full days now.

"We first must report to the Mizukage. It's disrespectful to appoint missions in neighboring villages without informing the Kage." Kakashi clarified making Hanami huff.

"And just how long is that going to take?" You massaged your brows and softly sighed. "Hanami just bear with us, we would like to go home as well but before we do that we have to ensure that you are safe."

To your surprise, she nodded and remained silent. "Once we check in with the Mizukage, it'll be nighttime and we'll check in a motel. So tomorrow morning you'll arrive at your destination."

"I'm going to scout ahead." You nodded at Kakashi's words glancing as he disappeared into the trees above. "My friend was killed by a rogue ninja." She suddenly said.

'I'm sorry to hear that.'

Once you hear those words repeatedly, they hold no value. Not only do you get tired of the pity from others but you begin to feel an emotion other than sadness.

"He wanted to be a ninja." She said. "Is that why you feel the way you do towards us?" You asked in curiosity.

"I believe so," Hanami commented. "I guess that's why I look down on ninjas so much. I've never spoken to a ninja so casually before but after hearing your story on the boat, I realized how much you guys go through." She admitted.

"You make it seem easy though." You raised an eyebrow and cracked a small smile.

"I've lost comrades and people close to me, but I didn't let that stop me completely. I fell into depression for a while, fell head over heels for a guy, and he cheated on me." You laughed quietly.

"I was maybe around your age when I lost my brother." You sighed looking ahead.  "Not a lot of people know I had a brother because he died before I moved to the leaf village but he gave me this necklace for my birthday...I never take it off."

"I guess everyone's stories are different." She admitted. "Yeah-" Kakashi appeared in front of the two of you and you both shared the same expression.

Worry.

We continued our formation, hours later arriving at the Mizukage's office. "State your name and business." A guy with an eyepatch said as he appeared in front of us.

"Kakashi Hatake and Y/n L/n of the village hidden in the leaves." Kakashi formally said and shook his hand. "Hello, I'm Ao. We've been expecting you."

"It's nice to meet you." You respectfully said. "Likewise. Follow me." He intrusted into the building.

"Ah, I've been expecting you Hanami." The fifth mizukage said.

She was a tall, slender woman with green eyes and long auburn hair. She wore a dark blue dress and beside her stood a familiar individual.

Chojuro.

His blade was from the swordsmen of the mist.  "Is there anything wrong?" You were snapped out of your trance tearing eyes away from the sword.

"Hiramekarei." You mumbled in disgust. "You know about-"

"Anyway, it's a pleasure to meet you. Lady Tsunade instructed that we give this to you." You handed her a scroll and she briefly opened it before nodding.

"I see. There is a motel not far from here, the two of you are welcome to stay there I'm sure you are tired from your journey. Chojuro will guide you guys there. Once Hanami Ueno arrives at her location, your mission is complete."
