That word the man keeps referring to 'King' still hasn't sat right with you.

"Shiro just made contact with Asuma." You said.

"Asuma Saratobi. It's been a while." Shiro greeted and he looked down at the white panther. "Hello Shiro, I'm assuming Y/n sent you."

"Sora kept referring to a 'King'. he didn't know the enemy's goal was to wipe out the village. He's in denial but I'm sure Naruto can talk to him. If anyone can..."

"..he can." You finished inferring what Asuma said. "Another thing, he said he believes the person behind the coup is behind the village attack..."

It took a moment for you to process the words that were coming from your own mouth. "The coup?" Your eyes widened in disbelief.

"There is no way...." You sat up looking down at the village. "The enemy is using some kind of reanimation justu on the shinobi from the Kohaku Clan." Lady Tsunade snapped her head to you.

"Konahomaru and his team just approached Asuma and Shiro. They sent the kids in the village to the evacuation area." That seemed to calm her nerves a little bit.

"Shiro. I need you to call Y/n here." You relayed. "It's the reanimation justu. They- They brought back four of the guardian ninjas!"

"Seito. Tou'u. Nauma. Kitane." You jointed up at the names you relayed to Lady Tsunade. Your fist clenched. "Lady Tsunade-!"

"Y/n wait. If Sakura and Yamato are there with him, you have to help the shinobi. They don't know what they're up against." She was right.

You've spared with Nauma before but weren't able to beat him but you used his training techniques to enhance your own over the years.

"Shiro engage if you must. Kuro you as well." You stood up stretching and gathering all of your equipment. "Whoever is the caster, their goal is to make the revived Guardian Ninja use limelight."

"What's that?" She glanced at you. "Once those four get into position, they create a massive ball of lightning that is powerful enough to destroy the entire village." Her eyes widen.

"If we can defeat at least one of them, then the technique will be canceled out." She nodded. "But if we are unable to get there in time, the village will be wiped out the moment those four get into position."

"I see. Go join them, I'm sure you are aware of which area is best to tend to." You nodded leaping from the window onto the building nearby.

"Kuro. Give me Nauma's location."

Those four were the best lightning-style users you've ever known.

He's right up ahead I see him! Charging at him head-first isn't smart. "Limelight." He said.

Shit! Am I too late?

"Nauma!" You charged at him sending a sharp wind attack inflicted off your kunai. He dodge it sending a lightning attack.

You got him away from the Limelight position which was all you needed. "Snap out of it! You're being-" He sent a strike of lightning at you making you fall unbalanced.

While you were down more crackles of lightning shot down at you. "You're being used!" He was out of it and he wasn't coming back anytime soon.

You clenched your fist and more lightning crackled in the sky above you.

"They've made you into their puppet..." He charged up another lightning attack. "Rest easy my friend. Did you forget...Wind beats lightning!"

"Y/n." Your eyes widened making you stop your attack midway which caused you to be struck by a sharp bolt of lightning. The pain surged through your body felt like thousands of sharp needles that stabbed through your body.

Did he say that or was that what you wanted to hear?

"Windflower." You stood on your two feet through the pain. The wind overcame the lightning as flower-shaped petals were shot at him.

'Asuma has defeated Kitsume.' Shiro announced.

You looked ahead at Nauma whose body dissolved into the ground.

You closed your eyes and exhaled shakenly. The rage you felt, should be framed as unhealthy.

You landed beside Naruto and Asuma watching as the bubbly red chakra took over Sora. "What is that?!" Naruto gasped.

A white-haired man laughed evilly beside Sora causing your gaze to harden. Shiro stood at your side ready to attack at any moment.

"Very nice Sora! Get angry! Hate! Turn that anger and hate into power!" He encouraged, You turned to Asuma who also studied the individual.

"...knock it off...I wasn't born to do that!" Sora fought back in a strained voice. "Yes, you were. It is all for the sake of true unification for the Land of Fire. Your power is now required, Sora!"

"What the heck are you talking about?" Naruto interrupted. "You..." Asuma pointed. You looked at him and his eyes were wide as if a realization overcame him.

"No way... You..." It was as if it hit you also the more you studied his face. His facial features. "So that's what this odd feeling was. It's you." You uttered in irritation.

"Asuma Sensei... Y/n.. Do you know this guy?" Naruto asked looking between the two of us. "Yeah." You both answered in sync.

"He used to be a fellow member of the Guardian Shinobi Twelve," Asuma explained.

That man is Kazuma.

Sora's father.

"What the heck did you do to Sora?" Naruto exclaimed. "All I did was take your leftovers." All of your eyes widened.

"I knew I felt this chakra before. It belongs to the 9 tails." Shiro stated. You looked down at her. Her claws were out and she stood in a defensive position in front of the three of us.

Sora screamed in pain and emitted a large rageful amount of chakra into the air. "Sora..!" Naruto ran up to him before you could stop him.

Sora hit him into the air and you directly Shiro to him. Her speed allowed her to break his fall. "Naruto!" Asuma shouted.

"He's fine." You announced.

Kazuma then explained how he managed to do this to his own son. It was when 9 Tails went on a rampage.

Naruto attacked Kazuma with his Kunai which he deflected and in the end sent him a distance away from him.

"Power?! You tricked me" Sora says to Kazuma. "Sora." Naruto tried to approach him once more but was stopped by his words.

"I told you to stay back! And when all is said and done, you're just one of the Hidden Leaf! I can't trust you!" Sora cried before dropping onto his knees in pain.

"The nail tail's cells are merging with Sora's." You announced. "Y/n can you use the seal the monks used? You were there." Asuma suggested.

"I would need multiple people for it. Since it's the nine-tails chakra I don't have enough training to suppress it by myself!" Sora jumped at Naruto which Asuma blocked him.

He aimed to jump at Asuma and Naruto but a wooden cage protected them. "Yamato!" You thanked.

You grabbed your chakra chain and wrapped it around both of your hands. Yamato helped Naruto suppress his nine-tailed chakra when they trained.

"Captain Yamato, can't you control Sora's nine tails like when you did with me?" Naruto asked. "I could only control yours because you had the first Hokage's necklace.

Sora broke out of the wooden restraints Yamato engaged him with. You searched for Asuma who was about to engage in a head-to-head battle with Kazuma.

"Yamato." He turned to you seeing where your eyes aligned to. "Go."

You tossed the chain around Kazuma's staff taking it from his grasp. "My, My, Y/n. You sure have grown up huh? It's a shame Ryoko-" You shot the chain around his throat slamming him onto the ground.

"You don't get to say his name." You clicked your tongue. Flames danced in your eyes every time you looked at this guy.

On the other side, Naruto reveals to Sora that he is a jinchuriki. The distraction allowed Shikamaru and Choji to successfully restrain Sora.
