An unwanted guest appearance

"I still don't understand why-" The blonde was silenced after Hidan kicked him into a tree. "Shut your damn mouth already!"

The others had grown tired of his complaining and internally thanked Hidan. "Will you two stop your foolishness, I don't want any attention," Kakuzu said with a glare.

"That's why you choose this path...I forgot you had some bounty here." Hidan slung his synth on his back and sighed tiredly. "I mean can you blame him? He makes hella money from it."

"Can Tobi join?" Another said appearing beside Kakuzu. "If you mess this up for me I'll kill you." He glared and the male shivered in fear sweatdropping.

"So cruel..." He mumbled.

Timeskip

"We're here," Chojuro announced. "I'm sorry for giving you a hard time," Hanami said avoiding eye contact as she fiddled with her shorts.

"Hey it's fine don't worry about it." You smiled down at her. Hanami jogged ahead of us to the house.

"Mita!" She exclaimed locking her eyes on the girl who exited the home. "That's the most emotion she's shown on this entire trip." Kakashi laughed.

You dropped your crossed arms and watched as we got closer and closer. It was almost as if everything was happening in slow motion.

"Hanami wait-!" She stopped and turned around but it was too late. "Huh?"

"Y/n!" Your body was sent flying meters into the air. A ringing sound filled your ears as you gasped taking in your surroundings. "Hanami!"

You shook your head trying to knock off your distorted vision. "Fuck!" You shouted in anger.

She was dead.

Your mission was over. The house was no longer standing. Hanami's friend, Mita, was nowhere to be seen but from the impact of the explosion, there wasn't anything left of her.

Your heart felt like it would beat out of your chest at any moment. What's going on? Flashes of Hanami's confused gaze filled your head.

The moment you called out to her when her eyes met yours....who knew that would be the last time they would be filled with life?

You grabbed your side and observed the hole in the ground where the house once was. Stumbling on your feet, you pull your kunai from your pouch.

It would be some miracle if she survived, but you had to see. Once you made it to what was left a gasp escaped you.

"Y/n!" Kakashi called out running to you with a fear-filled expression. You were speechless. You completed your mission but at what cost? You practically walked the girl into her death.

"Let's go." Kakashi softly said looking at the flames that continued to burn the wood that littered the yard.

You didn't need to check but you did and what your eyes looked at will be in your head for a while.

Her burnt corpse...

What did you expect to find though?

The way everything exploded was enough alone to kill anyone. No one could survive that. There was something about this mission that didn't sit right with you and now it was finally revealed.

"Y/n!" Chojuro ran to you but before he fully reached for you, a white blob was thrown between the two of you.

"Look out !" Was all you heard from him as panic covered his features. The explosion wasn't as big as the other one but it separated the three of you.

The field was too open for you to take cover and you couldn't just charge into the woods since the amount of enemies was unknown.

"Now that's what I call art." You closed your agape mouth slowly turning to the individual that walked from the woods.

It was a blonde rogue ninja. He held a cloak in his hands and pulled it on. "We appreciate you for making our job much easier...little one" A masked man joined his side.

"What the fuck did you just do." You said through gritted teeth. A kunai found its way into one of your hands and in the other, the chain that dangled from the bottom of it.

You gripped it tightly trying to contain your emotions. Those cloaks.

Akatsuki.

A masked man with green eyes leaned down to Hanami's burnt body."Get away from her!" Chojuro shouted pointing his sword at him.

Your leg felt terrible. You hadn't noticed before due to your adrenaline but there were pieces of wood from the explosion that stabbed into your right leg.

Kakashi raised his headband and stood protectively at my side. "It's called art, un." The blonde smirked.

You were beyond pissed. "Three Akatsuki members are here. Just what is going on." You lowly said to Kakashi as he slung one of your arms around his shoulder.

His face was hardened and he was breathing heavily. He knew you were injured because of those criminals and there wasn't anything he could do at the moment.

"Perhaps we will meet again, but for now we have other things to finish." He raised his arm and began forming some kind of warp.

Adrenaline.

"Come back here you asshole!" You flung your kunai rope stabbing him in his shoulder. Kakashi took it as his cue to attack the blonde.

Chojuro turned his focus on the man by Hanami's corpse.

You aimed to reel him in but he grabbed the chain so you sent a shock of lightning up the chain causing it to burn part of his cloak.

He warped behind you, it was so close that you felt his chest against your back. You already knew what would happen and there wasn't anything you could do to counteract if he attacked in such a small time gap.

Even if time seemed to slow once again, this time you were stuck and couldn't run. Your eyes went wide at the portal being opened. "Y/n!"

Kakashi sent a clone to us but it was too late. You felt a firm grip on your waist, it held lingers of possession.

The orange-masked man slid his free hand down your arm stopping at your wrist. You jerked away but it only made him tighten his hold making you gasp uncomfortably.

"Kakuzu, you have what you came here for. We wouldn't want to keep pein waiting." Suddenly he had some childlike voice then once he peered down at my angered face you noticed the Sharingan.

The green-eyed man looked away from Chojuro and to me. The orange-masked man looked at his two associates and you took this opportunity to attack.

You punched his neck twisting your body around his. "You'll only hurt yourself more in the process." Once you got out of his grasp, you kicked him but to your dismay....your leg went straight through him.

He grabbed your wrist twisting it but not too tightly.

Only as a restraint.

Something told you he was holding back but he would hurt you if he had to.

You want to knock that pathetic mask off his face. Shifting your weight to your injured leg you kicked him off of you with your left one and sent him flying into the tree behind him.

He darkly laughed standing up. He adjusted his cloak taking slowly menacing steps towards me and now Kakashi who didn't waste a second to join my side. "Kakuzu." The masked individual said in a dark chilling voice shocking the others.

"Yes, I have the girl." Kakashi's grip tightened around your waist making the male in the mask never move his head away from the pair.

"But that girl also has a bounty of her own." The man named Kakuzu peered his eyes into yours. They trailed down to the sash that dangled from your vest. "And it just doubled if that belongs to you."

"I thought the only female was Tōu." Hidan made himself known making you gape. Chojuro stood beside the two of you in a state of fear and confusion. "So how is it that you carry the sash of the Guardian Shinobi Twelve."

Four Akatsuki members. Three of us.
