Madison's pov (December 21st, 2018)
I walked into Starbucks with Liv, her arm looped around mine. She looked around for an open table before looking at me.
"I'm gonna go save us a table. You know what I want?" Olivia asked me.
I nodded with a small smile. "Of course I know what you want. You get the same thing every time, baby."
Olivia smiled at me before she kissed my cheek and went to go sit at a table. I took my card out of my wallet as I walked up to the counter. I paused when I realized that I knew the person in line in front of me.
"Hey, I know you from somewhere." I said causing her to turn around and look at me. "Holy shit. You're that singer."
"I am." She nodded.
"Sabrina Carpenter." I remembered her name.
"Yup." She replied with a small smile.
"That's crazy. My girlfriend, Olivia, listens to your music all the time. She loves you." I told her.
"That's sweet. You listen to my music, too?" She wondered.
"Uh..." I scratched the back of my neck. "I mean, only when my girlfriend plays it but it's good music."
Sabrina chuckled. "Thanks. What's your name?"
"Oh, I'm Madison, or Madi, or Mads. Whatever you want to call me." I smiled.
When Olivia and I's drinks were done being made, I took them from off the counter before heading to the table that Liv was sitting at. I set her drink down in front of her before sitting down in the chair across from her.
"Thanks." Liv said. "What took you so long?"
"You won't believe who I was talking to while I was in line." I told Liv.
"Who?" Olivia asked.
"Sabrina Carpenter." I said.
"No fucking way. You're lying." Liv quickly turned around and looked around the restaurant.
"I'm not. She's right over there." I pointed to the table that Sabrina was sitting at.
"You think it'd be weird if I asked for a picture?" Liv asked me.
"Not at all. She's super chill." I assured her.
"She's even prettier in person." Olivia told me.
I glanced at Sabrina before slightly shrugging. "She's alright."
I sat down in my chair in my music class at school the next day. The bell rang, signaling the start of class, and my teacher immediately started yapping about random stuff.
"For your next project, you guys are gonna have to write a song." My teacher said. This is the part where I started listening. "You're gonna write the song and then write some music for it. The song is gonna be about something or someone that has made a strong impact on your life. Good or bad. When it's due, you guys could perform it for the class if you want."
I knew exactly who I wanted to write the song for. I'm gonna write it for Liv. Ever since her and I started dating she's been my favorite person ever. And she helped me out a lot when my parents were finalizing their divorce.
I wrote a little bit of the song in class and then the second I got home from school I continued to work on it in my bedroom. I had other homework to do but for some reason I couldn't stop writing.
There was a knock on my bedroom door causing me to look over as Liv walked into my bedroom. I set down my pencil before subtly hiding my paper from her. I would tell her I'm writing a song for her but I want it to be a surprise.
"Hey, what are you doing?" Liv asked me.
"Just some homework." I replied as I stood up from my chair.
Olivia wrapped her arms around my neck and then placed her lips on mine. I wrapped my arms around her waist as I kissed her back.
"Did you come over just to hang out?" I asked her.
"Yeah. Is that okay?" Olivia wondered.
"It's more than okay." I smiled before picking her up.
She let out a small giggle as she wrapped her legs around my waist. I brought her over to my bed and laid her down on it with me on top of her.
"Don't you have homework to do?" Liv asked me with a smile as I kissed her neck.
"Mhm. But now you're here so I'd rather hang out with you." I slightly smirked before glancing down at her lips.
"I'm okay with that." Olivia placed her hand on the back of my neck and pulled me in for a passionate kiss.
