Olivia's pov (November 6th, 2017)

I was sitting in my first period class, which was Math. I was in the middle of doing my worksheet when the phone in the classroom rang. I watched my teacher walk over to the phone and answer it.

She talked on it for a few seconds before hanging up and looking at me. "Olivia, they need you in the office. Bring your stuff."

I started to internally panic as I packed up all my stuff and left the classroom.

I don't think I did anything wrong. Despite being the most popular girl in school, I wasn't your stereotypical popular girl. I got good grades and was nice to everybody. I've never got detention or gotten suspended or anything like that. I even have one of the best report cards in the school.

I pushed open the doors to the office and walked inside. I glanced over to my left, seeing the new girl sitting down in one of the chairs, looking down at the ground. I looked away from her, walking up to the front desk lady.

"Uh, hi. My teacher said that Mr Puccio wanted to see me." I said.

"Yeah, he's in his office. You can go right in." She replied.

I nodded before walking passed her and going into Mr Puccio's office.

"Hey, Olivia. Have a seat." Mr Puccio gestured to the chair in front of his desk. "I'm not sure if you know but we have a new student starting today."

"I think I saw her walking into school this morning." I told him.

"Well, uh, the girl who was supposed to be giving her the tour of the school is out sick today and since you have one of the best students in the school I was hoping you could do it?" He asked.

"Oh. Um. Yeah, sure. Why not?" I chuckled.

"Oh, great." Mr Puccio sighed of relief as he stood up. "She's sitting right outside."

Mr Puccio walked out of the office and I followed him out. He walked over to the new girl sitting in the chair. She looked up from the ground, looking at us.

"Alright, Madison. This is Olivia. She's gonna be giving you the tour of the school." Mr Puccio told her.

Madison looked at me and I gave her a small smile. She quickly looked away from me causing me to furrow my eyebrows. Maybe she's just shy.

"Have fun you two." Mr Puccio said before going into his office.

I watched him walk back into his office before looking at Madison. She picked up her backpack and put it on, walking out of the office. I let out a small sigh before following her out.

Madison's pov

I looked Olivia up and down. This is the girl giving me my tour? I saw her outside of school this morning and sure she might be popular and pretty but I don't want to talk to be seen with this girl.

If she's popular that means everyone is gonna be looking at her and I just want to lay low. Being the new girl at a high school is not easy. All these people have probably known each other since Kindergarten.

Olivia's pov

"So, Madison. Where'd you move here from?" I asked her as we walked the halls.

"Boston." She answered.

"That's a cool place. How come you moved here?" I wondered.

"Who wants to know?" Madison asked, her Boston accent really showing.

"I'm just trying to make conversation." I rolled my eyes.

Why is she being so rude?

Madison let out a sigh. "My dad got a new job."

I nodded, deciding not to ask her any more questions about it. It's obvious she doesn't want to talk about it.

"Okay, well, this is the science wing. You like science?" I asked.

"No." She said.

As we were walking the halls, I felt a pair of familiar arms wrap around my waist. I realized it was my boyfriend Louis. I let out a small squeal as he slightly lifted me up off the ground.

"What are you doing?" I smiled as he let me go. "Why aren't you in class?"

"I was on my way to the bathroom when I saw you walking." Louis told me before glancing at Madison. "Whose she?"

"This is Madison. She's new at school. Madison, this is my boyfriend Louis." I introduced.

"Nice to meet you." Louis held out his hand for a handshake.

"I don't do handshakes, buddy." Madison told him.

"Okay." Louis whispered as he put his hand down.

I talked with Louis for a few minutes before continuing on with the tour. I looked over at Madison, seeing her texting somebody on her phone.

"You know, if you want to make friends, you should consider being nicer to people." I advised.

"I don't need friends. And I certainly don't need advice from the schools queen bee." Madison retorted.

"Asshole." I muttered.

Madison stopped walking. "What'd you call me?"

I stopped and turned to face her. "I called you an asshole. I've tried to be nice to you but you've been nothing but bitchy to me since we met."

"Alright, you know what? I don't need this fucking tour. I'll find my own way around the school myself." Madison replied.

I watched her take out a piece of paper from her pocket, probably her schedule, before she walked off. She shoved my shoulder with her own as she walked passed me causing me to let out a scoff.

What a bitch. Thank god I don't have to ever see or talk to her ever again.
