Olivia's pov (November 26th, 2017
I woke up the next morning with someone's arm around my waist. I looked around and noticed that I was in Madison's bedroom and her arm was the one around my waist.
Our bodies weren't touching. It was just her arm that was around me.
I let out a yawn as I sat up and put her arm down on the bed. I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes before looking down at Madison.
She looked so peaceful. I carefully climbed over her and got off the bed. I slipped on my sneakers, trying not to make any noise. I accidentally made a creak in the floor board causing Madison to stir.
Madison slowly rolled over, making eye contact with me. "Liv?"
"Yeah?"
"Did you sleep over?" She asked.
"I accidentally fell asleep here. Sorry." I apologized.
"You're fine." Madison slowly sat up, letting out a small groan. Probably a headache from the insane amount of alcohol she consumed. "God, my head is, like, pounding."
I let out a small giggle as I stood up. "Yeah, that's what happens when you get insanely drunk. You want me to get you some advil?"
"Yes, please." Madison said.
I gave her a small smile before leaving her room. I glanced into her parents bedroom, seeing that her dad wasn't in the room. I wonder where he is.
I walked down the stairs and looked around to see that literally every room had trash in it. There were cups, bottles, plates, and napkins scattered in every room.
I went into the medicine cabinet and took the bottle of advil and a bottle of water from the fridge. I brought it back upstairs and handed it to Madison.
"Thanks." She opened up the advil and put a pill on her mouth, swallowing it with a sip of water.
"So..." I sat down on the edge of her bed as I looked at her. "What happened with you last night?"
Madison furrowed her eyebrows. "What do you mean."
"I mean, you weren't yourself. You were drinking and smoking. Is this about your parents?" I asked.
"Liv, I really don't want to talk about my parents." Madison shook her head.
"Madi, I care about you a lot. No teenager should be going through what you're going through alone. If you wont talk to me then will you at least consider talking to a therapist?" I asked.
"No. I hate therapists. I don't need to dump my personal issues on some rando." Madison snapped.
I let out a sigh of defeat. I heard my phone ding from Madison's bedside table and when I picked it up I saw that it was a text from my mom asking where I was.
"I gotta get home." I told Madison as I stood up. "I'll see you later or at school tomorrow."
"Bye." Madison softly said as I left.
Later that night, I was folding some laundry in my bedroom when there was a knock on my bedroom door. I opened up my door to see Louis standing there with a guilty look on his face.
"Hey... Come in." I said and he walked into the room. "What's up?"
I shut my bedroom door and walked over to him as he stood in the middle of my room. He let out a sigh before speaking.
"I made a mistake last night. I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." He started to immediately apologize.
"What did you do?" I cautiously asked.
