We had a game that was going to start in a little less than an hour so I made my way up to field while dressed in my cheer outfit. I walked passed two cheerleaders from the other school, accidentally eavesdropping on their conversation.
"I heard that number 52 on the other team is, like, insanely hot." One of the girls said.
I subtly looked over at them. That was Madison's number.
"Really?" The other girl asked.
"Yeah. I'm gonna try and get her phone number before we leave." Her friend replied.
I rolled my eyes as I continued to make my way onto the field. The guys and Madison were already stretching. Madison put on her helmet before she looked at me, giving me a wave. I waved back at her with a smile before making my way to the cheerleaders.
Once the game was over and Madison had scored the winning touchdown, she did a little victory dance. I laughed as she ran over to me.
"You are the cutest." I told her as she hugged me.
"The NFL is gonna cry when they find out Im never gonna join." She gave me a cocky smirk.
"They sure are, baby." I smiled at her. "Can we go out and celebrate your win?"
"Of course. Let me go and change first." Madison replied.
After Madi and I got changed we went to one of our favorite restaurants in town. We ordered our favorite meals and just started talking about random stuff.
"So what do we do now that we're semi-famous?" Madi asked me.
I shrugged. "I don't know. I never thought I'd get this far in a music career."
"Me neither. You know someone came up to me on the street yesterday and asked me for a photo? I said yes but it was still strange." Madi replied.
"You gotta get used to it, baby." I told her.
Madison smiled at me. "We should make a song together."
"Yeah?" I smiled.
"Yeah." She nodded. "We can both sing and make our own music track. We could do background vocals for each other. And then one day we'll go on tour together, then we'll win best pop duo at the grammys. And then-"
"Okay, slow your roll. Maybe we focus on one thing at a time first." I said.
"You're right. We'll start writing it tomorrow." Madison decided.
I chuckled. "Sure thing, my love."
"I already have an idea." She told me.
"We'll talk about it tomorrow." I promised her.
Madison and I sat in her bedroom the next day with her guitar. I laid down on my stomach on her bed while she sat criss crossed across from me.
"Tell me your idea." I said.
"Okay, so, I was thinking since you and I are so good together we can make a song about how we'll always be together no matter what. Say I moved back home to Boston, our relationship will still work." Madison explained. "The chorus can go something like 'Im never giving up, never giving up on you, baby'."
"Madison, I've said it before and I'll say it again. You're a fucking genius." I told her as I picked up my song book. "Let's get to work!"
Our song was done a few hours later. It wasn't that hard at all since it was a love song. The words to it poured out of us in seconds.
"Okay." Madison put the mouse over the play button. "You ready to hear our finished song?"
"Yes!" I exclaimed.
Madison smiled at me before she pressed play. The music started to play and after ten seconds you could hear my voice singing.

I let out a squeal once the song ended. Madison laughed as I quickly tackled her in a hug. She laid down with me being on top of her.
"I can't believe we did that." I said.
"It's amazing, huh?" She asked.
"So amazing." I replied before kissing her on the lips. "I love you so much."
"I love you way more, pretty girl." Madison softly replied.
