"Sure. I will make the changes and get back to you tomorrow " I ended the call with my team members, my voice sounding more tired than I intended it to.
Removing my airpods, I placed them in the case and then shut down my laptop. Phew. Today was exhausting. First, I woke up late. Second, it was raining and I couldn't take my scooty because of the fear of my laptop getting wet. And third, the cab was just not getting booked. I wonder why I love rain. But ya who cares, I love when it's raining, Period.
Today was one of those days that felt like it would never end. My eyes burned from staring at the code for hours and my back ached from sitting for too long. The only good thing that happened in the entire day was Veer offering me a ride to my office when he found me near the parking lot. And I was more than thankful to him. At least I was able to reach my office on time.
Sighing heavily, I got up from my chair and stretched my arms above my head. My colleagues had started leaving one by one and very few were there in the office along with me. I glanced at my watch and I had taken unusually more time today. It was already seven thirty. I grabbed my phone from my desk and was about to book a cab when a message popped up from, of course y'all know who. A small smile tugged at my lips when his name flashed on my screen.

Oh wait! I guess I forgot to tell everybody about a very important update. I had taken a very important decision of changing Veer's name from Rude Laddoo to Cute Laddoo. I mean he hadn't been really rude to me for well the past one month so it was only fair to address him by a nicer name you know. And well, ignore the emoji please. I don't have an explanation for that.
Leaving that aside, oh my god , oh my god, oh my god. Veer is here to pick me up and I look like a mess. Again.

I quickly messaged him back and stuffed all my electronics in my tote bag and rushed towards the washroom to touch up a bit.
