I had wound up my work week and felt a surge of excitement. I was finally ready to immerse myself in the festivities of Meera and Harsh's wedding . I was overwhelmed with the thought that finally the first best friend of the trio was getting married. All those teenage years discussions between me, Diya and Meera of who will be getting married first among the three of us , what dresses we will be wearing , what songs we will be dancing to surfaced in my mind as the flight made its way to Jaipur.

Me, Veer and Sahil had boarded the flight at around 5 in the evening and it had almost been an hour since the journey. There was one more hour for the flight to land. I was a tad bit sad that Diya couldn't join us because an urgent surgery had come up and she was required to be present in the hospital to assist the main team. Though she had informed about her absence prior to the hospital , but can anyone have a say in the matters of life and death ? But she had assured us that she will be taking the first flight tomorrow and will reach Jaipur. The festivities were anyway going to start from tomorrow so there was no issue of her absence as such.

Veer had insisted on booking the business class tickets and I was way beyond shocked. I mean I get it you have too much money, but a business class ticket for just a 2 hour long flight was definitely not worth it. And now I was stuck with this boring guy, who was busy reading some emails, and his overly excited best friend, who was busy playing some game on his mobile. These two guys had a stark contrast in their personalities. The best example of OkOkOk and LaLaLa.

Having nothing to do , I was getting really bored. I had been looking outside the window for an eternity now , or so it felt. So , I decided to give a shot at the only source of enjoyment I could think of . Of course, annoying Veer ! It was my favorite pastime.

I leaned over slightly, trying to peek into his phone. Veer , always the vigilant one , sensed my movement and sighed without looking up.

"Prisha , don't you have something interesting to do?", he asked , his tone exasperated but with a hint of amusement.

"Nah... You are my source of entertainment for the next one hour. Did you know that if you say "rise up lights" with an Australian accent, it sounds like you're saying "razor blades" with a British accent?" , I asked turning my body towards him .

Veer finally looked up , his expression a mix of confusion and amusement. "Why do you know that ?"

"I have a wealth of useless knowledge. Want a glimpse?", I asked enthusiastically.

"Didn't I already get one ? " , his demeanor, a bit relaxing.

"I want to hear more please" , Sahil exclaimed as he paused his game.

"Okay so  , did you hear the rumor about butter ?", I asked, controlling my laughter.

"No, what about it" , Sahil asked,  scratching his head.
