"I thought you hated hugs" , I voiced out as he wrapped his arms ever so gently around me.
"I still do, but hugs from you are an exception", he pulled me closer, a small smile tugging at the corner of his lips.
Intrigued, I slightly tilted my head...

"Its okay Veer... I will do the dishes", Prisha said, snatching the scrub from my hand.
"How about we do it together? I will wash the dishes, you dry them ", I suggested. It was only fair if I helped her. Afterall, she had made dinner.
"Okayy ", she chirped, giving the scrub to me. I was liking this. She was finally behaving with me the way I had yearned for her to, the way she behaved with others.
"So how is your dance practice going ? ", I asked, handing her the dish I had just washed.
"Ahhh that... I have been busy lately. I am currently working on two projects so its a bit hectic. But we do practice it over video calls.", she said, drying the dish and placing it into the rack.
"Uhh... Would you like to join me for Meera and Harsh's wedding shopping ? Meera has designed some dresses, she has plenty of men's collections as well . Me, Diya and Sahil were planning to go next week to her boutique. ", she asked hesitantly.
"Yaa sure ", I said. Obviously, I wasn't going to leave a chance to be closer to her.
"Where's the washroom ? ", I asked as we were done with the dishes.
"My room towards the right... Take this ", she said and handed me the candle.
After using the washroom, as I was about to leave the room, my gaze landed on a green soft board which had some notes pinned into it. Curious to know what exactly was written on them, I made my way towards it. In the dim light of the candle, I read the notes.
It had some book names with TBR written at the top. Another one had a list of things she wants to experience.
I read it slowly ....
1. Getting a red rose bouquet as a gift
2. Gazing the sky together
3. Book cafe date
4. Late night long drives
5. Dancing in the rain
And the next thing that I read made my eyes jump out of their sockets.

What kind of thoughts does she have? Those books that she reads have surely corrupted her mind. I had bought that "Aaron guy's book" on Kindle after I had overheard Prisha and Swara's conversation and I can tell for sure she has many more such *ahem* thoughts.
But I did be glad if I will be the one fulfilling them. Especially the last one which she has written down .
"Veer what's taking you so long ", I heard her yelling and I immediately left the room, with the fear of getting caught, to find her in the balcony, sitting on soft cushions which were laid on the floor. I kept the candle on the balcony floor.
