"I'm just going to go to the toilet, be back in a second." Maxine gets up and leaves.

"More drinks?" He asks them, finding his excuse to go and check on her. The couple agree and he takes the empty glasses from the table and walks up to the bar, getting refills for both Jacob and Daisy. He takes the drinks back over to them then pretends to go and grab the other two drinks. It looks odd so he quickly checks that nobody's looking before he swiftly enters the women's restroom. 

"What are you doing?" Maxine laughs when she turns and sees him standing there.

Gerard wipes off his forehead and tidies up his hair. Maxine reapplies her makeup for the second time.

"You took your time!" Daisy says to them as they sheepishly approach the table. 

"You look... different." Jacob eyes up Gerard and smirks, he freezes until he remembers the original lie, forgetting that he's wearing eyeliner. 

"Yeah sorry about that guys, I thought I'd check on Max cause she was taking a while. She was touching up her makeup and I couldn't escape before she did this to me!" He jokes around, earning a laugh from all of them. Daisy shoots Jacob a quick suspicious look with a smirk, neither of them notice. 

"Fair enough." Jacob laughs, ignoring that he knows what they done just to save them the embarrassment.
