Maxine has a free day today as Daisy and Jacob are travelling out of the city to visit Daisy's family. After last nights interaction, Maxine can't stop thinking about Gerard. She's usually so nervous about talking to people, especially men after her last boyfriend, but Gerard was different. He was sweet, caring and seemed genuinely interested in everything that she had to say.

She woke up feeling tired after thinking about him almost all night, so she decided that she's going to head down to Camden market for a chill day, grab a coffee to perk her up a bit before going vinyl shopping. Maxine loves music, almost as much as painting, so Camden market is the perfect place for her. There's hundreds of record shops filled with every genre of music imaginable.

She pairs a cream jacket with a white jumper and black jeans, she throws on a pair of brown converse as she leaves her flat. Maxine lives in Camden so it's only a short walk down to the market. She briefly stops off at a small coffee shop to grab a caramel latte, not only does she need the energy, but she also needs the warmth.

Maxine actually enjoys the peace and quiet of being on her own, it's early in the day so the market isn't quite bustling yet. She enjoys most genres of music, but she mostly enjoys rock music, which contrasts her appearance a lot. She isn't particularly looking for any records today, just browsing.

Maxine strolls into a shop that's playing soft, elegant music. She picks at each vinyl, reading the titles and having a look at the artists. Nothing in this shop interests her. Reluctantly she moves onto the next one.

This shop was playing some heavier music. There's an even larger selection of records in here, Maxine spends about 20 minutes looking through the rock section. She picks up one in particular that catches her eye. It's a Foo Fighters vinyl for 'The colour and the shape'. She holds it up in front of her face and as she moves it away, she feels a pair of eyes staring at her. She's greeted by a smile from Gerard. His hair swoops down across his forehead and he's wearing a leather jacket with ripped black jeans.

"Hey!" Gerard says, still keeping a smile on his face. "You like Foo Fighters?"

Maxine freezes for a second. "Uh hi!" She giggles nervously. She couldn't stop thinking about him last night, now here she is again, unable to spin a conversation with him as is she's star-struck. "Ye-yeah I do aha, this albums great!".

"I saw them live once." Gerard casually says before gesturing for her to pass him the vinyl. He takes it and walks up to the counter.

"Hey, I was going to buy that!" Maxine exclaims, but before she knew it Gerard had already bought it and was walking back over to her. "Here, for you." He passes the record to Maxine. She almost crumbles to the floor in awe of his kind gesture. "What?" Maxine asks, surprised. "I bought it for you!" Gerard says with a smirk.

Maxine thanks him but she can't believe it, they hardly know each other and he's already treating her to things, maybe he's just trying to leave a good impression.
