They had stayed out way later than they intended on last night. After the restaurant, they all decided to go to a jazz bar which was fun during the moment, but now the next day seemed like the wrong idea.

Maxine rises out of her sleep and instantly notices a pain in her head. She checks her phone and sees that it's 3pm! The exhibition is starting at 5pm which only gives Maxine a couple of hours to get ready. She stumbles out of bed and heads into the kitchen, chucking down some painkillers to get rid of the headache caused from last night. 

Once she had a snack to fill her slight hunger, she decided it was time to get ready. She only has about half an hour to get hair, makeup and outfit done so she immediately starts on hair, as usual. Maxine decides to give her locks a light brush and leave it in the same straight style from last night. Makeup doesn't take long at all as she simply layers some mascara onto her long, fine lashes. A little bit of concealer here and there and that's makeup done! Now time for the outfit. Although it's cold out, Maxine chooses to put on a short, frilly skirt which has a pink and white floral pattern on it, accompanied by a matching top. Over this combination she throws on a white knitted cardigan which matches the white aspects of the floral pattern on her top and skirt. She takes a brief look in the mirror before deciding that this is the finished look. She digs out a small white purse from the bottom of her drawer and places her phone and keys into it. 

Daisy and Jacob have booked Maxine an Uber which is scheduled to arrive in around 10 minutes. In the meantime, Maxine gets caught up once again in her own thoughts. She keeps thinking about who this man is that Jacob wants her to meet and what he could possibly teach her. She's never been asked to be introduced to someone before so this is a new experience that she can't stop overthinking about.

A car horn beeps outside, breaking Maxine out of her trance. She rushes out of the door and greets the Uber driver. It's a short, silent drive to the Tate gallery. The driver drops her near the train station which is just down the river front from the gallery. 

"Thank you!" She says as she hops out of the car. As she's walking over she spots Daisy and Jacob waiting outside for her.
