Exhibitions- Gerard Way

Flight

Jacob arrives back at his house and finds Daisy sat on the sofa watching a film. He sits down excitedly next to her and explains an idea. "Daisy, we need to get Maxine over here!"

Daisy pulls a shocked and confused expression at his statement. "Gerard needs to see her again, they've been texting each other non-stop and-" Daisy cuts him off.

"They have each other's numbers? And she told me that they weren't flirting!" She laughs. 

"I know, look. I'll text her and get her to come out, come see us and the sights of New York! I don't know but I do think it's about time she comes over here anyways." Jacob explains. Daisy agrees, of course she wants the best for Maxine but it also means that she gets to spend more time with her.

Maxine and Gerard have been texting all day. When Gerard got back from his meeting they called and he explained about his exhibition, which Maxine thought was cute. She loves how passionate he is about art. Gerard left it there soon after as he had to set up final pieces for his showcase. 

It's been a few hours and she's bundled up in a blanket on the sofa watching a new TV series. Her phone buzzes and lights up next to her. Eager to reply to who she thought was Gerard, she reaches for her phone to see that Jacob had sent her a message.

Jacob:

Hi Maxine, how would you like to come to New York tomorrow? Come visit us, I think it's about time you can over here and Daisy is missing you like crazy lol

Maxine:

Ahh I would love to but I really can't afford it, I promise i'll visit soon though!

Jacob:

No worries! I'll book your flight and a hotel, pick you up from the airport tomorrow? 

Maxine:

What! No Jacob you can't, that's not really fair haha, I appreciate it but I can't 

Jacob:

Honestly Maxine it's fine. see you tomorrow okay.

There's no point in trying to argue with him, he's stubborn and has money to burn. Whether Maxine liked it or not, she was getting on that flight.
