"Why are you and Hazael not together?" natawa si Kweslin habang ako naman napataas ang kilay.
He raised his brows too and licked his lips. "What?"
"We just don't see each other that way, we know instantly that we are just friends." I smiled.
"Hazael didn't think that he was the right person for Ithiel."
"Kuya!" natatawang awat ko kay kuya Erreo pero 'di niya ako pinansin.
"He admitted this to us anyway, he knew that he would never be deserving enough to have Ithiel, he knows himself, he knows it, he's aware of it, he accepted it. I'm not saying he have secret feelings for you, Thiel." humarap siya sa akin.
"Kasi 'di naman magsisinungaling 'yun sa 'yo, ikaw isa sa mga pinakamahalagang tao sa kanya, I'm sure if ever he likes you or what, you'll be the first one to know besides God." umiling ako.
"So my point is, we also asked this to him before, right?" Kweslin nodded at him.
"Syempre, curious kami, they've been best friends for so long, we know Ithiel will never fall easily, alam niya ginagawa niya, but for Hazael, it's different so we asked him." the shield and then leaned on his seat and put his arm around Kweslin's chair.
"He simply knew he was not the right one for her, that was his words. He loves Ithiel, but not in that kind of way." he nodded as he finished his... kwento.
"Really?" I nodded when Jathen turned to me with a smile.
"Why? Why did you ask?" pumalumbaba ako.
"Everyone in your life asked you that, Ithiel." natatawang sabi ni Kweslin habang sinasara ang Bible na hawak niya.

"Well, some of them thought and concluded that you are in a relationship even if not, just by looking at you two kaya 'di na sila nagtanong," natatawang sabi niya pero umiling lang ako.
"Didn't you like him or something close to that?" I bit my lips and pressed my lips together when I heard Jathen.
He looks so curious right now.
"I don't think so," mahing sagot ko, kumunto ang noo niya at nanliit ang mga mata.
"Ithiel fully surrendered that decision to the Lord," Kweslin was the one who answered, tumango naman sa tabi niya si kuya Erreo.
"You surrendered it?" tumuon ulit siya sa akin, I smiled and nodded. "Yes," I answered.
"How would you know he is giving that person to you?" and then he licked his lips as he stared at me, waiting for my answer.
I blinked and swallowed, I felt my heart pounding as I answered him, "I'm sure He will make sure I will know." tumitig lang siya sa kain kaya ngumiti na ako.
"I wasn't looking for anyone rin naman, I'm so full of His love I don't crave for it anymore when the time is right, I know He will make it happen." I breathed.
"When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen. Isaiah chapter sixty, verse twenty-two." napatingin kami ng sabay sa nasa harapan namin when they said it outloud together.
Nagtawanan kami ng ma-realize nilang nagsabay pa sila.
"I wanna do that too," Jathen sighed.
"Basa lang ng basa, Jath, you'll not only gonna memorize it but it will be printed in your heart too." kuya Erreo nodded.
"Good thing I have you on tour." tumawa na ng malakas si kuya Erreo sa sinabi niyang yon.
