"Why are you in a terrible mood! It's so early in the morning!"
Leehan looked up, startled by Sungho who was standing in front of him, hands on hips, holding a cup of coffee. "Why do you look like it's Good Friday?"
Leehan rolled his eyes and buried his face back in his hands. "Nothing!" he said, but his annoyance was clear in his voice.
"Oh, come on! Did you have a fight with Taesan?" Sungho laughed, so Leehan silently cursed him under his breath.
"No, nothing happened," he said, rolling his eyes again.
"Oh, by the way, the new employee is here, right? Where is she?"
Leehan's frown deepened. He aggressively pointed at Taesan's office and complained.
"She's been there since morning! They've been chatting for more than two hours, and they don't want to be disturbed! And your boss, I asked one of your coworkers to tell him that this paper is important and needs his signature, but he said later! Wow!"
"Damn, that's a long rant," Sungho said, laughing. "Are you jealous?"
"No, of course not! I'm just annoyed, we have so much work to do and they're just..."
"You're such a drama queen, being jealous!" his friend laughed again, so Leehan stood up in frustration.
He pulled Sungho away and dragged him to the kitchen area to continue complaining, even though he kept denying being "jealous".
Leehan was in a bad mood all day.
He barely saw his boyfriend because Taesan's office door was closed all day. To make matters worse, the new employee, who Leehan recommended to Taesan, only left the office during lunchtime and then returned.
Yes, they were inside the office all day.
The reason why Leehan is at Taesan's company is because of Mr. Han said. Taesan's father wasn't that supportive about them but he said that if they successfully finish all the paperworks within five days while launching a new branch, he'll give them a chance.
Of course they can just ignore this because it won't affect their relationship that much because of Taesan's deal with his father but Leehan wanted to prove himself.
Besides, he won't lose anything from this. And, he still wasn't the official CEO of his family's company so Leehan kind of left everything to his father.
Now, Leehan needs to work side-by-side with Taesan in their company.
Although it already started two days ago, working in Taesan's company was supposed to start tomorrow but he decided to surprise him today which obviously didn't turn out to be what he expected it to be.
At six o'clock, Leehan returned to his table after chatting with his friends because he couldn't start any work since he couldn't talk to Taesan.
Speak of the devil.
Taesan was already closing the door of his office when Leehan got back to his table. He glared at his boyfriend's back before organizing the papers on his desk and grabbing his bag.
"Hannie? I didn't know you visited. Since when are you here? Aren't we supposed to start tomorrow? "
And because Leehan was still sulking, he stayed silent.
Taesan walks towards him and hugs him from behind. "I'm sorry."
"Why are you even sorry?" Leehan mumbled.
"Because I didn't know you're here."
"I told them not to tell you. It was supposed to be a surprise."
"Surprise? Why didn't you come to my office then?"
"I can't, Taesan. Your office is locked for the whole day."
"Oh.."
And he didn't even explain why it was locked with the bookkeeper. Leehan shook his head and was about to turn away.
"Come with me," he suddenly heard Taesan say. "Wait me to my car, let me bring you home. It's unlocked."
Right. Leehan didn't have his car with him since he wanted to surprise Taesan and it's late.
Leehan's plan to sulk was ruined after hearing Taesan. He even managed to suppress a smile at his own weakness. So easily swayed, huh, Leehan?
Without saying anything, he took the papers and nodded. "Okay..."
But damn it.
Someone was already in the car.
