After a long but not so tiring day, it was time for their Valentine's dinner party.Almost everyone was busy getting ready- doing their makeup, changing clothes, putting on perfume, washing their faces, everything. While he was just massaging his head because it was aching. After all, he only got an hour of sleep because he had been crying.
"Are you okay?" He stopped massaging his temples when he heard Taesan. He raised his head and was almost shocked when he saw Taesan leaning on his table to check up on him.
"I'm fine, Min. Just a headache..."
"Do you want to go home? I can take you-"
"Leehan!" Kwon suddenly appeared beside him. Taesan stopped talking and Leehan stood up to greet Kwon.
"Kwon! You're ready?"
"Of course! It's rare that we get to hang out with the boss on occasions like this. Right, boss?" Kwon said, giggling at Taesan who just nodded and gave him a small smile.
"Ah... Min," Leehan called out so Taesan looked at him. "I'm fine. And... let's just meet at the restaurant. I'll go ahead with Kwon..."
"But you're riding with me though?" Taesan suddenly used his boss card to Kwon. Leehan felt Kwon freeze beside him, so he knew his friend would let him go.
"What?-"
"Oh, never mind, Leehan! Go ahead, you're riding with the boss!" Kwon said nervously and fake laughed before waving and walking away.
"Kwon!" Leehan tried to follow him but Taesan stopped him.
"You're riding in my car," Taesan repeated as if Leehan didn't hear him the first time.
When they were settled in Taesan's car, Leehan had finally found the courage to speak.
"Why?" He asked formally, but there was a hint of sarcasm in his voice. Taesan just frowned.
"We have a lot of things to talk about."
"I thought we would talk about work later?"
"This isn't about work," Taesan said firmly.
Leehan was speechless. "What? So you're going to interrogate me while we're on the road?"
"Leehan, please don't make this hard for me," Taesan pleaded.
"Don't make this hard for me," Leehan whispered back mockingly, crossing his arms and looking away. "You're the one making it hard. It's obvious that you don't want to talk to me, so why are you forcing me?"
"Because I want to talk about it, Leehan. Don't shut me out whenever things get-"
"There's nothing to talk about! What are you going to say? Sorry? Oh, I already forgave you. Now can you just let me go back to Kwon-"
"Say his name again and I swear I'm gonna be all petty and we won't go back until we settle things between us, Leehan."
Leehan's heart pounded. He couldn't even talk back because he was too stunned.
"You know, if I was crazy, I would think you're jealous," Leehan jokes, looking back at him. He was ready to scoff but Taesan stopped him by staring at him.
"And you're crazy because I am jealous."
"You're the crazy one!" he frowned. "Why would you be jealous? I'm the one who should be, not the other way around!"
"Here." Taesan said, giving him a piece of envelope while waiting for the traffic light to go green.
Oh, come on!
"What does this envelope have to do with our situation?!" Leehan asked.
