Taesan grabbed Leehan's shoulder, his knuckles turning white. "What more do you possibly want!" he roared, his voice thick with frustration.

They were at a mall earlier when Taesan persuaded Leehan to buy more until it becomes too much.

Plus, Taesan's the one deciding which he'll buy, he became too controlling.

Leehan's face crumpled, tears welling in his eyes that spilled over like a broken dam, tracing a glistening path down his cheeks.

Silent sobs wracked his body, his hands trembling uncontrollably.

"Isn't this enough yet?" Taesan pressed on, his anger simmering just beneath the surface. "I can give you more if you want to! Designer clothes? I'll whisk you away to Paris for a shopping spree. We can even get them custom-made if that's what tickles your fancy." His hand clenched into a fist, his jaw clenched tight.

Leehan's tears didn't slow, but intensified with each of Taesan's words. "A car? Name it and it's yours. You don't like the penthouse? We can find a new one, one that meets your every whim. I can even buy you a whole aquarium-"

"That's not what I want!" Leehan finally choked out, his voice raw with emotion. He yanked his arm free from Taesan's grip, the movement sending a jolt through the air that crackled with unspoken tension.

They locked eyes, a silent battle raging between them. Both chests heaved with ragged breaths, the room thick with the weight of their unspoken feelings.

"Then tell me!" Taesan demanded, his face reddening as he leaned in closer, his voice barely above a whisper. "Tell me what it is you want. I can give it to you, even the rarest fish in the world-"

"I said that's not what I want! Can't you understand that?" Leehan screamed, his voice cracking with despair.

Taesan flinched, a flicker of hurt crossing his features before anger reignited in his eyes.

"I don't understand, that's why I'm asking you, Han!" Taesan yelled back, his voice tight with frustration. He fought the urge to grab Leehan again, the image of Leehan flinching fresh in his mind. "What is it that I lack? I gave you everything-"

"No," Leehan interrupted, his voice cold and laced with a hint of betrayal. Taesan recoiled, a bitter laugh escaping his lips.

"No?" he echoed, his heart clenching in his chest. Had he been so wrong? "I gave you everything you could possibly want since we're young, Leehan! What more do you need!" He roared, the sound echoing in the empty room.

Leehan stood frozen for a moment, his shoulders slumped in defeat. Then, with a quiet dignity, he turned away from Taesan and walked towards the door.

"Leehan!" Taesan called out, his voice laced with panic. "Don't run away from me! I'm talking to you!"

Leehan paused at the doorway, his back still to Taesan. "I need your love, Min," he whispered, his voice thick with unshed tears.

"I don't need these material things. I only need you. I need your love," he choked out, his voice barely a whisper. The weight of his words hung heavy in the air.

Taesan blinked rapidly, his mind struggling to catch up. "W-what?" he stammered, his brain a tangled mess of confusion.

"I gave you everything I thought you wanted, isn't that enough to say that I love you?" Taesan clutched his chest, a sharp pang of realization shooting through him.

"Yes," Leehan cut him off, his voice laced with a quiet pain. "You gave me everything I wanted, but you didn't give me what I needed."

Tears welled up in Taesan's eyes, spilling over like a broken dam, mirroring Leehan's earlier tears.

He stood there, frozen in place, the weight of Leehan's words crashing down on him like a tidal wave.

Slowly, a horrifying truth dawned on Taesan . He had been so focused on giving Leehan everything he thought he wanted, that he had completely neglected the most important thing: his love.

Despair washed over him, a cold dread settling in the pit of his stomach. He felt broken, his heart shattering into a million pieces, a chilling reminder of a past he thought he had long buried - fear of losing Leehan.
