Leehan woke up a bit late, cursing himself for turning off his phone last night. When he turned it on, he saw another unread message from Taesan that he didn't want to open, but he did anyway.

As if nothing happened yesterday, Leehan screamed loudly and jumped on his bed even though he was already dressed. He almost punched his phone before calming down.

He replied with a heart emoji before heading off to Taesan's company. He was smiling and in a good mood, trying to forget what happened last night. He decided to apologize to his boyfriend, so he was very grateful when he arrived at the office early.

"Wow, first time!" Jaehyun exclaimed, drinking his coffee. "It's already 5 before 7! Why are you late?"

"I'm not late!" He defended himself as he passed their room. He rolled his eyes at his friend who followed him to the kitchen to make coffee for Taesan.

"Go back to your table! What are you doing here?"

"Taesan said he wants breakfast! And he's looking for you because he knows you always arrive early, he wants a coffee made by you." Jaehyun couldn't stop talking even though Leehan was alarmed by Taesan's early arrival and his urgency in making his favorite coffee.

"Why didn't you make his coffee?!" He complained to his friend.

Jaehyun gave him a 'Really?' look as he rolled his eyes. "As if you don't know that he only wants you to make his coffee!"

"I know," He rolled his eyes back at him. "Just want to remind you."

"Hey!" Jaehyun laughed and let him leave to bring the coffee to Taesan.

He knocked three times before going inside after he heard him say "come in". He greeted him and showed him the coffee he was holding, causing Taesan to look at him.

As he reached his table, he noticed another cup of coffee far from him. He glanced at him but Taesan only shrugged. "I asked for one from the employees but I couldn't drink it. Not my type. Is that mine?"

"Yes," Leehan nodded and placed his coffee. "Sorry, I'm a bit late today," Leehan then held the untouched coffee and asked if he would take it away.

"Yes, please," Taesan smiled, looking relieved with the coffee that Leehan made.

"I'll take it out," Leehan said goodbye because he felt awkward after seeing him. He was embarrassed by what he did last night so he wanted to escape but Taesan suddenly stopped him.

"I'm really sorry about yesterday, Hannie."

"It's alright. I'm sorry too for acting like that. I should've given you a chance to explain." Leehan replied

"Can you work here beside me? I need you near me. I bought your favorite gummy and we could eat it while we work?"

Leehan nodded immediately. "Is there a lot to do?"

"Yes," He nodded and sighed. "The whole team is asking for a Valentine's dinner date tomorrow. We have to finish all of these today so we can relax and have less work tomorrow so we can enjoy dinner."

"Oh yeah, the one that I've been suggesting to you for months!"

"Yes, I can vividly remember. So if you want me to treat the whole team tomorrow while we finish the deal with my dad, get the things you need and let's work now."

True enough, they spent the whole day together in the office, endlessly working on paperwork. Although Leehan never forgets to be playful from time to time, it didn't bother Taesan and in fact, he was somewhat happy because the younger guy still had energy.

They had been working straight for almost 11 hours, without lunch, and only stopped after hearing a knock on the door.

"Come in," Leehan pursed his lips upon hearing his boyfriend's voice. He also waited for who would enter and almost tore the paper when he saw Jessa.

"Good afternoon, boss!" She laughed at her own greeting. "I've been looking for you, but I was told you and Mr. Kim wouldn't come out of the office."

"Busy," Taesan pointed at the paperwork that still needed to be done. Jessa stood still near the door, glancing at Leehan whose eyes were glued to her.

Right. Taesan hasn't explained what's up with this Jessa.

When Leehan noticed that she was also looking at him, he smiled thinly and looked away to go back to work.

"I have something important to tell you... it's an emergency."

"What is it?" Taesan asked with furrowed brows and glanced briefly at Leehan who was now acting like he didn't care about their conversation.

"Uh..." Jessa scratched her nape. "It's exclusive."

The office went quiet for a while before Leehan felt Jessa's gaze on him. He looked back and slowly understood the look he was giving.

"It's fine, I need to go ask Woonhak about this anyway. " Leehan was supposed to grab some of his things and leave if Taesan hadn't grabbed his arm.

"No, no... stay here. I'll be back soon. I'll call Woonhak for you."

Confused, Leehan nodded and let go of his things. He went back to what he was doing, acting like nothing was affecting him even though he really wanted to sigh to relieve the heaviness in his chest.

Taesan stared at him for a second or probably more until he held his arm again. "I'll be back later. Wait for me. Let's have dinner, my treat since I made you skip lunch today.."

Huh? Dinner? They'll be gone for a long time?

But of course, he didn't ask that. Well, he didn't have the time to since Taesan walked away quickly. Jessa who was now apologizing to him.

"Sorry, Hannie! We'll be quick, I promise!" He heard Taesan shout outside.
