He couldn't take it when Taesan started laughing. He took the envelope and pulled out the paper as if there was no bomb about to explode beside him.Leehan was about to complain again when Taesan gave him the paper.
With that, his heart crumpled into beautiful pieces as he read the letter.

Dear My Darling,
I am writing this letter to express my feelings. I find it difficult to put into words whenever you are in front of me.
I know I struggle a lot to communicate my emotions, but I hope you understand how much your dedication has given me the strength to make it in this business. Your presence is the reason why I can get through the stressful days in this industry which is probably why I seek for your affection even when it is not business days.
I appreciate your attempts to help me out while also making an effort to win my heart because it was indeed effective.
I am grateful that you have allowed me to develop, and I am sorry for all I have ever done. Please understand that I am making every effort to be a better version of myself because of you.
Eversince we were just kids, you've always been my strength, Leehan. I promised to protect you and I will forever hold on to that.
I can't imagine my life without you, really. And the day we became officially together is one of my core memories. Let's stay together for a long time, promise me that, please?
You've been telling me how cute love letters are since last month so even if I'm not good at it, I hope this will make you smile.
I love you. Nothing can separate us.
Sincerely yours,
Han Taesan______________________________
"Are we settled now? Are you going to talk to me now?" Taesan asked.Leehan was about to answer when Taesan's phone rang. Jessa's contact number appeared on the screen and that's when Leehan remembered why he was upset.
Taesan ended the call and stared at Leehan. The latter raised an eyebrow and glanced at him, saying, "Answer it. Why did you end it?"
"We're talking," Taesan replied simply, making Leehan chuckle slightly.
"We're talking, you say, but how many times have you chosen her over me? I thought you liked me!"
Taesan was startled a bit when he saw tears in Leehan's eyes. He quickly wiped them away while looking away.
"I do love you," Taesan reminded him, a little confused on why Leehan was doubting him. "What does Jessa have to do with this? With us?"
"I don't know! You're so confusing! The other day, you were in your office all day with her and you forgot about me! You even invited me to come with you but I'd just be sitting at the back, while you two were chatting! You promised me we'd have dinner together but you never came back! Are you playing with me? Is that how you like someone, huh, is that it?!" Leehan was almost panting when he finished ranting. He continued wiping his tears even though they kept flowing.
"Leehan.." he tried, believe him he did, so hard to reach for his hand but he was so afraid that he might break him.
In the end, he gently caressed Leehan's arm when he tried to touch him. "She's just a friend. Do you wanna know why I've been keeping her close these past few days and why she's calling right now?"
Even though Leehan was looking away, he couldn't help but look back at Taesan when the latter touched his face.
"She's an ally. I asked for her help because I was supposed to bring you to a different restaurant...so we could have alone time together. But circumstances were different and I knew I had to talk to you first before going back there."
"You were gone for hours! With her! While you made me wait in your office!" Leehan said, remembering what happened last night.
Tears welled up in his eyes again, so Taesan gently wiped them away before Leehan could roughly push him away.
"There was a problem with the first restaurant I tried renting. There was a double booking and someone else was proposing there, Hannie," He smiled.
"I didn't want to ruin his proposal so we had to find another restaurant but failed to find one, that's why it took us a few hours... which I totally regret because I know you... you'd rather-"
"I don't care about that... even if it was a small eatery, I'd be fine with it.."
"I know. I was too late to realize that. I'm sorry.." He mumbled so softly, almost making Leehan close his eyelids because of the calmness in his voice.
"Sorry," All of a sudden, Leehan apologized, which made Taesan furrow his brow.
"Sorry for what?"
"Because I always push you away whenever I'm jealous or annoyed with you.." Leehan looked away. "But in my defense, I had no idea that... you're planning something."
"Hmm..." Ah, Taesan still hadn't let go of Leehan's face. And because of that, they were so close to each other. "We're good now?"
"I love you," Leehan repeated, making Taesan finally smile.
"I love you more."
"Let's go back? I'm hungry," Leehan said shyly, as if he wasn't the same bold Leehan who would tease Taesan every day.
"Alright..."
"But where to?" Leehan asked like a child, so Taesan smiled.
"Can you cook for me instead? I would like to taste your cooking again."
"You know that I'm bad at it."
Taesan shrugged, "I don't mind dying as long as I'm with you."
"Hey!" Leehan protested, but he couldn't help but smile. Taesan laughed and kissed the back of his hand.
Leehan grabbed his phone and opened his camera, taking a picture of their hands with Taesan in it, staring lovingly at their intertwined fingers.
"You look good," Leehan commented, looking at the picture.
"I like you," Taesan said again.
"Alright, that's enough!" Leehan complained, but he couldn't hide the smile on his face. Taesan laughed and kissed his hand again.
