Chapter 27

He barely cared if he came out rude. After saying that, he left Taesan's office.

"That's a lie," Leehan told himself as soon as he sat down at his table.

He hadn't eaten dinner last night and had arrived home very late because of the traffic. He also couldn't sleep properly because he spent the night crying.

Honestly, he knew he shouldn't give his boyfriend the silent treatment, but what could he do when he couldn't control it? He had made promises, but they weren't kept.

His thoughts were interrupted when he noticed Taesan leaving his office. Leehan raised an eyebrow in surprise because he usually stayed in his office.

His boyfriend gave him a quick glance before looking away. He approached a coworker and talked to them for a while. Leehan decided to mind his own business and started working.

A few moments later, Taesan came back to his office. He tried his best not to look at him, so his eyes were almost glued to the monitor just to avoid looking at his boyfriend.

But after a few minutes, he came out again. He walked towards him while holding some papers.

Taesan gently placed it on Leehan's table and said, "Can you scan these papers for me, please? I need to send them to a company later."

"Sure, I'll take care of it," Leehan answered before standing up to pick up the papers. "I'll just bring it to your office when I'm done."

At this point, Leehan doesn't feel like he is Taesan's boyfriend anymore.

He caught a glimpse of Taesan swallowing hard.

Leehan shook his head and said, "No, I'll just... wait for you here. I'll just talk to the marketing department for a bit."

"Okay, sir..." Confused, Leehan nodded and started doing what he was told.

And for the whole day, that was their routine. He couldn't count how many times Taesan left his office just to give him tasks or ask him questions.

Even their friends and co-workers were surprised because Taesan rarely left his office.

What was even more surprising was that he ordered pizza for the whole building. He was even the one who brought it to different floors.

And in the end, when he saw that Leehan wasn't taking any, he took a plate and filled it with two slices of pizza, then placed it on Leehan's desk.

Then he proceeded to talk to his workers, like he didn't do anything scandalous at all.

Leehan tried his best to ignore the pizza and pretended to focus on his monitor even though he wasn't really doing anything.

He only stopped when Jaehyun poked his side and whispered, "Hey, eat up. You're so dramatic," He rolled his eyes at Jaehyun and ignored him. But Jaehyun didn't stop teasing him.

After the longest debate in his head, he finally ate the pizza without looking at his boyfriend or anyone else.
