3rd Person POV

Leehan's grip tightened on my arm as he pulled him away. "We'll continue this outside," he muttered, his voice barely audible.

As they stepped into the quiet solitude of the garden, the tension between them crackled.

"What's wrong with you?" Taesan asked, his voice rising. "I was just talking to Yuri."

"Talking?" Leehan scoffed. "More like flirting."

The accusation hung heavy in the air. Taesan's jaw clenched. "Are you serious? You think I'd flirt with someone right in front of you?"

"Then why did you let her touch you like that?" Leehan demanded.

Taesan's patience snapped. "I've known Yuri for years! We're friends. We're not going to be formal just because you're jealous."

Leehan's eyes darkened. "Jealous? Me? Don't be ridiculous."

"Then why are you acting like this?" Taesan retorted. "You're accusing me of something I didn't do."

"I'm just asking a simple question, Dongmin," Leehan pressed, his tone growing insistent.

Taesan's gaze hardened. "We've known each other for years, Leehan. Do you really think I'd flirt with someone? Is that what you think of me?"

"Why won't you just answer the question?" Leehan demanded.

"Don't call me Dongmin," Taesan snapped.

"Taesan, then," Leehan tried again, "Why were you flirting while I was away?"

A wry smile crept across Taesan's lips. "You really want to go down this road, don't you?"

"Yes! Just answer the question!" Leehan exclaimed, frustration evident in his voice.

"No," Taesan replied, his tone firm. "I have no reason to flirt with anyone when I'm in a serious relationship."

"See? It's that simple," Leehan said, relieved.

But Taesan's expression turned serious. "You'd accuse me of that? If anyone here is capable of such a thing, it's you."

Leehan was stunned. He searched Taesan's face for any sign of a joke, but found none. Every word was clear, every syllable a dagger.

"You're joking, right?" Leehan stammered.

Taesan's gaze was cold and unwavering. "Do I look like I'm laughing?"

Leehan's face flushed with embarrassment. "I'm sorry, I overreacted. I thought-"

"You thought what?" Taesan interrupted, his voice laced with bitterness. "That I would betray you? That I would cheat on you?"

Leehan opened his mouth to respond, but no words came out. He knew he had crossed a line, and he couldn't undo the damage he had done.

"I'm sorry," he managed to say, his voice barely a whisper.

Taesan turned away, his shoulders tense. "Save your apologies. They mean nothing if you don't mean them."

Leehan reached out to touch Taesan's arm, but he pulled away. "Don't."

"I'm trying to change, Taesan," Leehan pleaded. "I'm trying to be better."

Taesan scoffed. "Is that what this is? A performance? A show?"

"No," Leehan insisted. "I'm sincere."

Taesan turned to face Leehan, his eyes filled with hurt and disappointment. "You're not the same person you were before. You're more arrogant, more controlling, more suspicious."

Leehan's heart sank. "I'm not trying to be like that."

"Then why do you act like it?" Taesan asked.

Leehan was silent. He knew Taesan was right. Maybe he was being controlling or something but he's just scared of losing Taesan.

"I'm sorry," he said again, his voice barely audible.

Taesan turned and walked away, leaving Leehan alone in the garden. As he watched Taesan disappear into the house, he felt a wave of despair. He has disappointed him and doesn't know what he'll do.

But for now, what he thought of is by Taesan's side and hopefully it will somehow soften his cold heart.
