I rushed at the end because i felt bad about not posting 🙏(also yes, im still very much busy with moving and other things)

After having the awkward talk with Sigewinne, she didn't say anything out of the way, or how they both were idiots for not noticing about Neuvillette's heat, instead she kept them thoughts to herself, because what Neuvillette needed right now was support, and like the good nurse and friend she is, she is going to give it.

This was also going to be a learning experience for her too, and she was excited more about dragon biology. She sat down with note pad in hand writing down everything that Neuvillette could remember about dragon pregnancy.

One question came up that Neuvillette didn't think about, what if everything is different because the baby isn't fully dragon, but human instead. That's when panic rose in Neuvillette, not showing it but Sigewinne could tell. She comforted him with words of reassurance that everything was going to be find, then did a check up on him to prove the baby was fine.

It came to a surprise that the baby was progressing as a dragon pregnancy. Unlike having to wait 9 months, Neuvillette had to wait 4, lay the egg, and wait until it hatched, easy enough. Everything seemed to be perfectly fine and healthy in the end, the baby was growing at a normal dragon rate, and nothing should go wrong.

Though Sigewinne could tell that the baby was in dragon state, she couldn't tell the gender which was normal, but that did disappoint her. She wanted to know if she had a little sister or brother.

That talk was almost two months ago now. During that time Neuvillette sent a melusine on a mission to Natlan to not only get hot spring water but to search the ruins of the civilization that was ran by dragons. Though Neuvillette told her he was going to send someone else for that, yet she took it on herself to do it. Anyways, she found useful information and brought it back to him with pictures since she did understand what anything said that was carved into stone.

It was now after work hours, Neuvillette sat in the same chair eating food that Sigewinne had hand made the both of them. Neither said a word, just enjoying the silence as Sigewinne read through the steambird and ate, since it was public knowledge now that Wriothesley is in a coma she's been enjoying the drama that people are saying about it.

As much as the silent was nice, Neuvillette was finished with his food and needed to distract himself from staring at his comatose husband. He stood up to throw away the foam plate, and on his way back to sit down he grabbed a book off the desk.

Neuvillette flipped to the page he last left off, 'baby rooms'. Sigewinne ended up finding a 'how to' book for beginner parents and thought it was be a good idea to give it to him. It made Neuvillette understand a lot, yet this book was for human women, so when it came to anything with the baby he just scanned past it.

Then another problem about baby clothes, and now another problem just came up as Neuvillette continued to read. Baby room. A home. Sure meropide would be somewhat fine, but a tiny room with hardly any movement for the 3 of them wouldn't work at all.

Neuvillette didn't want his child to live in the Court of Fontaine just yet, and it would only cause trouble for Wriothesley too. He's made it clear multiple times that he preferred to live in meropide, and Neuvillette felt the same after a while. In the past the two started talking about expanding the room but was interrupted and the topic was forgotten.

The sound of Sigewinne moving her chair and standing up got Neuvillette's attention, for now she would have to be the best choice for this conversation.

"Do you have a map of meropide?" He asked as he continued to read.

Sigewinne threw her plate away, turning to give him a confused look, "Yeah? Why do you ask?"
