Transform - Daniel Caesar feat Charlotte day wilson

Noah and I gape at eachother as they finally see us and walk towards our booth.

"Hey guys!" Thea says excitedly.

"This is my nephew, Xander." She points at the cute kid with chubby cheeks next to her.

Oh.

Ohhh.

Understanding dawns over both of us, as we try to keep our laughs in.

Why are we dumb?

I knew that both Thea and Ethan had older siblings.

I also knew that Thea's sister is married.

I clearly can't put two and two together.

The adorable boy, Xander, waves at us excitedly, "Hello, I'm Xander!"

It's cute because he says his 'L's' have more of a 'W' sound.

I immediately swoon, "Aww, hi Xander!" I turn to Thea, "How old is he?"

"He just turned three last week."

"Hey little man." Noah grins at him, while holding out his hand for Xander to shake.

Xander shakes it back with a toothy grin on his face and his chubby cheeks naturally flushed with a rosy colour.

Noah exaggerates the handshake, turning it more into him just wiggling xander's hands to which he breaks into a fit of laughter, which makes me laugh because he is adorable.

Ethan and Thea sit next to each other while Xander points at me. "I wanna sit next to her!"

Thea laughs, and Ethan just looks at her. I clear my throat purposely, and he immediately snaps out of it and adverts his eyes, his Adams apple bobs as his throat works in a hard swallow.

I just know that my girl Thea didn't notice any of this.

And the crowd sighs in disappointment.

I internally shake my head at both of them. They might not admit it, but they are literally head over heels for each other.

I was genuinely shocked and a bit disappointed when I first found out they weren't dating. It's like when you're watching a series with two actors that have so much chemistry together - even on their interviews, but find out they're not dating in real life.

"Her name is Ariella, Xander." Thea laughs again.

"I wanna sit next to Rella." Xander repeats. I'm first confused to who he's talking about, but then realize he's trying to say my name.

People take offense when others pronounce their name wrong and I get it, but Xander is a kid and the way he says it is endearing, really endearing.

I'm kind of honoured. Actually, not kind of, I'm really honoured.
