I give him a dirty look. "Why do I have to sit next to you?" I complain.
Ethan returns my look with one of his own, clearly hating this as much as I do but scoffs, offended. "Like I came here on my free will." He mutters.
I wrinkle my nose at him, "It's okay if I complain. You don't get to because I'm amazing."
Our chemistry sub scrambled all our places around just because one idiot moved his place to sit next to his bro right in front of her.
And now she thinks we're all not in our designated places and are lying to her.
Ethan raises a brow.
I gape at him, "So you're saying I'm terrible company."
His lips twitch, "I didn't say anything."
"But you gave me that look like I'm delusional or something." I argue.
"What if my face was malfunctioning and I just happened to make that face?"
"But it wasn't."
"What if?"
"But it didn't!"
"You don't know that."
I open my mouth to retort, but I get distracted when I see a girl walking up to our table until she's right in front of us, cutting off my view of the sub who is not paying attention to the chaos in this classroom.
Kayla Richards. The girl who would ruin all her friendships for male validation.
I know about her because she had sworn animosity with Thea just because she was mad Ethan rejected her. She thought it was because of Thea.
It one hundred percent was.
Boo hoo, Kayla.
It became a whole issue. Just because a guy she liked had liked someone else. She made some terrible rumours about Thea that eventually got handled.
She's lucky I wasn't in this school last year.
Wait you know what this sounds like? "I see red when I'm angry."
I may be blind but I don't see red guys, you have to trust me on this. I am a normal person.
But if she pulls any of her crap again this year, she has me to deal with as well as Noah and Ethan again. Oh and Thea because that girl can defend herself too.
"I can sit next to you." She suggests, excitedly.
"I'm sorry what?" I ask, even though she's only looking at Ethan.
Her eyes twinkle as she continues, "You guys were arguing about having to sit next to each other, so I can solve this issue for both by sitting next to Ethan!"
