My phone dings with a notification and I sit up from my laying position on the grass.
I see Noah glancing at me from the corner of my eye.
The brightness of my phone kind of blinds me for a second before I decrease it.
Theaaa: okay, so I know you're like at a function right now. BUT I'M FREAKING OUT.
Me: Thea. Shut up. WHAT HAPPENED? Are you okay??
Theaaa: okay, soo...Ethan kinda asked me out right now.
I gasp in shock, Noah glances at me besides me. He lifts a brow in question.
"Ethan asked Thea out!"
His eyes shine in surprise, "What the fuck? It was about damn time. What did she say?" He asks, looking genuinely happy.
My brows furrow, "I don't know. Lemme ask her."
Me: OMG. OMG. ABSKDBDJ. WHAT DID YOU SAY??
Theaaa: erm. That's the thing. I kinda ran to the bathroom instead of answering.
Me: What? WHY??
Thea: idk I had to tell u and I kinda freaked out.
Me: do you want to say yes?
Theaaa: of course.
Me: then why the hell are you still texting me? GO OUT THERE AND SAY YES, YOU IDIOT.
Theaaa: okay, okay. Rudeass.
Me: dumbass. Also Noah's next to me rn and he's reading our texts
Theaaa: I would be surprised if he wasn't.
Noah scoffs from besides me.
Me: okay now shut up and go!
Theaaa: I'm going!
I exhale a laugh as I shake my head, "She's such an idiot sometimes."
"All the time." Noah adds dryly.
I give him a look, "Excuse me? Only I can say that about her."
My phone dings again and I'm about to scream at Thea through the screen to get out there but I check it to see that it's Ethan who texted me.
Ethan: stop texting Thea.
Me: planning to carry on texting her, thanks for the suggestion!
