Ch 3

I woke up later curled in a bunk cold and with a migriane that made moving nearly impossible. I sat up and my eyes quickly began to water from my pounding head. A few small tired whimpers escaping my throat as I attempted to climb out of the small cramped space. I had almost made it out when the bus jolted and my body slamed to the floor as I began to full on sob. "HEATHER!, oh my god whats wrong?" Tyler and Luke came running back but simply clung to a small pillow i had found on the ground near me. "Heather please sweetheart whats wrong?" luke asked me softly as he ran his fingers through my hair. My face was still covered in tears, but I spoke in a quiet almost whisper. "I-i have a migr-graine so i tr-tried to come find you g-guys and f-fell." "well Im here now, ok. And I know just what you need." He carefully carried me to the back lounge while grabbing a small bag off of the extra bunk that he was staying in. He sat me in his lap before pulling out a bottle of pain meds, a water, and a cold pack. Helping me carefully take the medicine before placing the cold pack to the back of my neck and cradling me in his arms. The bumps and shakes of the bus were still making me sick and a few minutes later I was bolting towards the bathroom sobbing violently as my entire stomach contents ended up in the toilet. My head still pounding and the stupid fucking bus was making it worse. I just wanted my soft bed and my teddy bear. I felt someone running a cool towel over my face and neck, while another set of hands gently plaited my hair to keep it out of my face. "Wh-wheres Ri?" I asked quietly my headache beginning to fade but the nauseous feeling getting worse by the second. "Hes on the other bus love" tyler said quietly while looking at Luke.

"Um Tyler can I talk to my si... I mean Heather alone for a minute please," luke asked. He nodded sadly before walking away leaving me curled against Luke on the cold floor. Us barely fitting in the small space, especially with his mile long legs. After giving me a few minutes to calm down he quietly asked, "Ok heather spill... Whats up with you and him," pulling me between his legs my back against his chest, while rubbing my neck and shoulders softly. "We met yesterday when Alex drug me to rehersal with him to meet the rest of the new tour group. I was dead tired and had just finished my editing for my vlog and story when Alex ran off with my laptop so we talked for a bit, and i kinda fell asleep on his shoulder cuz id been up all night reformatting my website and getting all the new dates put up. And when hed finished his rehearsal he drove me back to my place cuz i could barely walk i was so tired, and we cuddled. Like i dont know Luke we just click really well." I informed leaning my head back onto his chest as his arms wrapped around me waist. Luckily Luke wasnt the protective one in the group. Id get that lecture from Rian and Calum later if anything actually happened bewteen me and Tyler. "Mhmm, you know Ill have to tell Cal when I go back to our tour right?" He asked quietly. I nodded wishing he wouldnt but knowing that even if I begged him not to Calum would blackmail him into it. "Lukey do you know if theres any sprite. Itll help more than water," I asked quietly starting to pull away from his embrace. "I dont know sweetheart but we can find out." He responded pulling me up with him and slowly walking us to the front of the bus. "Hey um do you guys have any sprite, heath..." "Here ya go babe. And you can have my spot between Tyler and Michael, im gunna go take a nap." Ty or Scout as they called him cut luke off handing me the soda and pointing to the empty spot on the couch. I was still slightly nervous however being around these guys. "Lukey please stay with me" I quietly begged grasping his hand tightly and burrying my face in his side. "Of course sweetheart," he said quietly pulling me over and getting me situated on the sofa before sitting in front of me with his head laid in my lap.

I began to softly run my fingers through his hair watching how he began to practically purr at the action. Luke was different from the others when it came to calming me. He was more like a living teddy bear. Very cuddly, and 'petting' him(playing wih his hair) was one of the most soothing things I could do in a stressful situation. Because as long as my fingers where busy my mind would relax. Even more so when he would lean his head back even more and watch my face. His blue eyes soft and gentle, his smile making me feel safe. He was the best at calming me in most any situation, whereas Zach and Rian were better at extreme panic attacks. Luke was the first one besides Alex that I had told about my anxiety, and in normal situation he is just like a normal brother. He teases me, and can be a pain in the ass. But when I get anxious, or over stressed he always seems to calm me in the best ways. I was focused on the silky soft feel of his hair as it weaved through my fingers, and I coudnt help the sqeal that escaped my lips or how my body jerked as Tyler tried to pull me into his chest. I instantly fell to the floor burying myself in Lukes arms chanting apologies like some kind of forgotten wiches spell. Lukes arms holding me close to him as he quietly cooed in my ear while rubbing soothing patterns on my back. "I want to g-go to the other b-bus... Im sorry. Im sorry. Im sorry. Lukey Im so sorry." I whimpered before bursting into tears and hiding myself in Lukes chest again. "Love were only few hours from the hotel cant you pleas..." "No! I j-just wanna g-go, p-p-please" I was shaking now, and my headache was coming back. "Heather sweetheart you need to relax or you will get sick." Luke said firmly, but something in me snapped as I grabbed my phone hitting speed dial.

"Al-alex?

I knew I shouldnt have let you ride with them babe whats wrong.

A-alex i wa-wanna come to th-that bus pl-please?

Ok babe we have a rest stop in about five miles you and Luke can switch over then.

Alex is R-ri there?

Yeah babe youre on speaker go ahead.

Ri my blanket and st-stuff is there on the bus r-right?

Sure is. Zach and I will have everything set up when you get over here.

I hung up and tried my best to only focus on Luke, but my eyes cought on Tylers sad eyes. I hated that I had upset him, but my anxiety was through the roof right now and being on a bus full of people that I didnt know was not helping at all. "C'mon sweetheart relax for me, ok. Im not leaving you." Luke whispered prying at my fingers that were digging into his arms. I whimpered trying to get closer to him while screwing my eyes shut as my mind began racing. I tried so hard to ignore the trembling and the voices in my head telling me im not worth all of this. He continues to coo and hold me as the bus came to a stop. His arms pulling me close and holding me securely to his chest as I nuzzled my face into his neck. He carried me over to the bunk area throwing both of our bags over his shoulder before carrying me off the bus. I instantly started shaking even harder once the cold air hit my skin. "Heather please stop shaking sweetheart I really dont want to drop you." He said quietly walking quickly over to the other bus and just as he was about to knock the door swung open, and Jack was pulling us inside as Rian walked over and wrapped my favorite blanket around me made out of old tshirts and had been washed with the guys clothes enough that it had a constant smell of them on it. I was finally able to calm down a tiny bit as Luke sat me down between Alex and himself. I held the blanket up next to my face as I relaxed into them. Zach came over after a few minutes handing me a small cup and my anxiety medicine, "here kiddo take this, youll feel better in a little bit." I carefully swallowed the pill still trying to stop the constant shaking. I was freezing, and my entire body ached. "Heather kiddo, you need to relax" Zach said calmly rubbing my calves as Luke wrapped his arm around me. He may not be overprotective, but he was very attentive when it comes to my mental health. I held my blanket close to me still freezing and shaking. Trying anything I could think of to gain some warmth. "Heaths whats wrong babe why wont you relax for us," alex asked warmly. "I-im fr-freezing." I stuttered my teeth on the verge of chattering.Luke pulled me closer basically wrapping himself around me. His warmth covering half of me as Jack surrounded my other half. My mind was relaxing but my body felt like I had run a marathon. All of my muscles beyond stiff and achy. My eyes begining to flutter a bit as my meds kicked in my entire body relaxing involuntarily. "Get some rest babe" Jack said calmly as he and Luke stayed cuddled with me.
