Ch 8

I woke up the next morning cuddled in a bunk nuzzled into Tyler his arms holding me firmly to his chest. His face nestled into my neck and his steady breath calm and soothing. I couldn't help myself as I began to gently play with his soft hair. A smile quickly swept across my face when he opened his gorgeous blue eyes watching me with a gentle smile. "Mornin babe," he whispered quietly holding me closer. "Mmm, youre warm babe." He stated after a bit placing his freezing hand to my forehead causing me to whine and shy away. "Tyyyy your hands freezing." I whined softly. His eyes instantly went soft, "Im sorry hun but youve got a fever." He was super gentle as he climbed out of the bunk grabbing my meds and a water before walking back with a worried Alex behind him. It took everything in me to not whine when they pulled my blanket off of me. Instead I shrunk back and curled into a tight ball. "Cmere heaths i gotta get your temp," Alex said softly as he gently pulled me to him pushing the thermometer into my mouth. I curled into his side shivering as we waited for it to beep. His fingers rubbing soothing patterns on my back helped me relax into him. After what felt like an eternity the beeps rang out and his worried expression returned. "Hun youre at 102 we may need to take you back to the dr if it doesn't go down in a few hours we cant have you getting pneumonia or hypothermia while tours barely started," he told me softly holding me close. I simply nodded feeling slightly loopy from all the meds in my system. I smiled lazily as he sat back keeping me curled tightly into his side. It was nice to relax with my best friend for a bit. See most people look at how close Alex and I are and automatically assume that wed be more like siblings, and to be honest we do have our times like that. However, most of the time he's just the best friend Ive ever had and the one who knows virtually everything about me. He swears to people that he 'doesn't know me that well' but the truth is he knows me better than even Luke. The thing is while Luke knows the big deep details about my mind Alex knows and notices the small minute details about me. Things like my music or movie preference, or the type of people I like to be around. Things Luke doesn't necessarily have to worry about. I noticed after a bit that I had zoned put when I heard the guys talking about me like I wasn't there. "M'still here dorks," I mumbled softly earning a chuckle from both men. "We know babe. Were just discussing what well do if you end up sick," ty replied warmly while rubbing my knee. I frowned a bit realizing that if I do end up really sick Id have to leave the tour so I didnt risk getting anyone else sick. Also realizing that Id be left at my apartment alone since Lisa is out visiting her parents and all my guys are touring. "Uh A alex wh what will happen if I get bad sick its not like I could stay on tour with you guys, and you know I cant..." "Shhh, well cross that bridge when we get to it ok," He cut me off smiling softly. I simply nodded again pulling my blanket around me to help my shivers. I tugged at my sleeves and blanket tighter covering wrist as it started to itch, rubbing it slightly. I could feel each little tug of the bandage as it moved. After a bit Tyler reached out holding my wrists still as he climbed into the bunk and cuddled into me. "Im really glad i have you guys," I whispered quietly snuggling into both of them. They both smiled warmly and chuckled when Zack came over tugging me out of the bunk and into his chest, "lets get your bandage changed out, hm?" He said softly carrying me to the back lounge where he had already pulled out all of the first aid things he would need. I snuggled tightly into his side as he carefully changed the bandage on my wrist. It made me smile watching how soft and gentle he was never tugging or pressing too hard. Most people would never figure Zack to be a gentle person, and in general he wasn't. He was definitely one to rough house and be rough with the guys, but whenever i came in he always turned soft using gentle touches. Basically becoming the ultimate protective brother. I felt bad every time something would sting or pinch making me wince, because he would frown and try to be more gentle. "Zacky I'm not made of glass I promise I wont break," I said softly looking up at him. "I know you wont kiddo i just hate seeing you in pain," he replied softly with a sad look in his eyes. I looked up at him and I wanted so bad to push away all the bad again and be the happy person he wants me to be. I couldn't help but nuzzle into his side quietly saying, "Im trying so hard Zach I swear I am. Its just I dont know its just really fucking hard right now." I was instantly pulled into his chest him curling me into a small ball in his lap. "I know sweetheart I know you're trying and I will always be right here to help you pull through. You know I never break my promises." He said quietly running his fingers through my hair. I normally hated feeling small because it made me weak, but with the guys(especially zack) i felt safe being small and vulnerable. It was impossible to stop myself from curling tighter pulling my blanket around me and smiling when Tyler walked in rubbing my back. He gently checked my temperature again and the look of relief was amazing. "Youre fevers going away babe," "Well I have the best doctors in the world caring for me," i said softly kissing his hand.  His smile was enough to make the demons in my head run in fear. I carefully got up and walked to the empty bunks with Ty pulling him close, "Ty c can I ask you something" i said shyly. He nodded holding me close. "D do you m maybe wanna g go um onadatewithme" i stuttered and rushed getting nervous. His huge smile and bone crushing hug were obvious indicators that he'd still understood. "I would love to take you out babe," he smiled happily. "I know just the place when we get to Atlanta" he began to ramble as my stomach plummeted. "Uh Ty I wont be here for the Atlanta show its the day after I go to London i im sorry," i said frowning and looking away. "Hey," he cooed pulling my chin up so he could see my eyes again, "Its okay babe any time with you will be amazing. However I will be taking you home with me at some point so I can take you to my favorite places." I jumped getting startled as Rian yelled "god its about time" i blushed so hard I honestly thought my face would catch fire. "Awe, hun dont be embarrassed," Ty cooed pulling me into him. His warmth and steady heartbeat quickly calming me faster than anyone or anything ever has. "Thank you," i whispered softly nuzzling into his chest. "Id do anything to make you happy sweetheart"
